Czech Republic is a landlocked country surrounded by four countries namely Germany, Poland, Austria and Slovakia. The terrain is varied; the country has hilly areas with the highest mountain Sněžka located at the height of 1,602 metres and it also has plains and plateaus and other low mountains.
The climate in Czech Republic is temperate. The summers here are warm and the winter can get cloudy and snowy. The warmest month is July. At higher altitudes, the temperature can go as low as -30°C in winters. Rains usually arrive in the months of May to August.
