Two main waterways have always played an important role in defining the geography of Hungary in the form of Danube and Tisza rivers. Hungary is said to have a continental climate. Though summers are typically hot here, there are rain showers that you can experience alongside snowy winters. Hungary is ranked as sixth in the environmental protection index.
