Goa is profoundly known for its beaches. Any trip to Goa without visiting the beaches would be incomplete. This majestic waterfall takes the name from the Konkani language. It literally means ‘Sea of Milk’. It’s amongst India’s tallest waterfalls. It lies on the river Mandovi and is situated on the border of Karnataka and Goa. It’s easily approachable and is 60 kilometers away from the capital Panji. One might recollect watching these falls in the movie “Chennai Express”. Go get the breathtaking view!
Built before the Portuguese arrived in India, this fort protected Goa from several rulers. It’s the perfect place to take quite stroll overlooking the beautiful Arabian waters. Famous from the movie “Dil Chahta Hai”, this fort is a place you would want to visit with your friends.

Goa is an amalgamation of various cultures, especially Hindu and Christian. The temple is dedicated to the Shantadurga who is believed to balance Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva in each hand in order to stop a fight between the two. A visit to this temple would balance out your trip spiritually.
Established in 1988, this sanctuary is named after the famous Ornithologist Salim Ali. It’s a huge estate spread across 440 acres of mangrove forest. It would be any bird watcher’s delight to see the varied species of birds here. There is a ferry service to take the tourists to the islands in the sanctuary.
