Viking Ship Museum
The world’s greatest Viking treasure lives in this Viking Ship Museum. The musems offers a chance to experience & know the best three preserved Viking Ships in the world and unique burial artifacts from boat graves around the Oslo Fjord. Oseberg, Gokstad and Tune are more than 1000 years old which were used to navigate the seas and later they were used as graves. The museum displays incredible woodcarvings- mystical dragon heads, mysterious skeleton remains and an immersive film that takes you into the Viking era. The museum operates constantly to find the best conserving methods to preserve the ships and they can still be admired very closely by our visitors.
