Take a Spiritual ride to Adam’s Peak

  • Adam’s Peak is said to be the place where Adam put his foot for the first time on earth. According to the Hindu mythology it is believed that it is Shiva’s footprint and thus it is also known as “Shiva Pada” or “Sri Pada”. Get a Tan on the Beaches

  • This island is known for its pristine beaches. Some of the best beaches in Sri Lanka are Hikkaduwa beach, Nilaveli beach, Arugam Beach, Bentota Beach and many more. One could just visit one of these beaches and relax on the white sands and get a tan!

Visit the Udawalawe National Park

  • The stark beauty of the Udawalawe National Park with the variety of beautiful animals like Elephants, Sri Lankan Leopards, Sambar Deer, Water Buffalo etc. add to the beauty of this place. It is also a great place for bird watching.

Visit a Turtle Farm

  • Turtle farming and hatchery is done extensively in Sri Lanka. A few places to turtle hatching are Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project, Sea turtle Hatchery, Hikkaduwa Turtle Sanctuary and Bentota Turtle Sanctuary. It is a beautiful experience releasing baby turtles in the sea and you might get it to do that in one of these sanctuaries.
