We include a ride of about 45 minutes on a camel through the desert. According to tradition, this is where Moses saw “the Burning Bush that burned without being consumed”. The monastery, which is a sacred place for Jews, Christians and Muslims, belongs to the Orthodox Church and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">12.00 hrs.-: Stop at the WELL OF MOSES, a biblical site that looks like a small oasis.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">16.00 hrs.-: Lunch included in route. Afterwards we will visit the Papyrus Institute for about 30 minutes, where we will see how the papyrus is handmade.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">11:30 hrs.-: Visit the Coptic Quarter, which is nowadays one of the meeting places of the Egyptians and one of the oldest areas of the city. Visit the Hanging Church.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">12:30 hrs.-: Visit the Citadel, built by order of Saladin in 1176 and completed in 1182. From 1218 until the 19th century it was the official seat of the Egyptian government. The history of this area is full of palace intrigues, assassinations, overthrows and massacres such as that of the Mamluks in 1811. Representative buildings include the Muhammad Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, built on the model of Istanbul´s Hagia Sophia.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">13.45 hrs.-: Lunch included in a local restaurant.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">15:00 hrs.-: Visit the Egyptian Museum, which is about 10 km from the Pyramids and contains one of the most important and impressive archaeological exhibits in the world. The jewel of this exhibition is the treasure of Tutankhamun which occupies the entire upper floor. The city is home to a multidenominational and multicultural population. Even within the midst of the ultra-modern commercial Centre, there is evidence of its ancient roots, with colorful souks, Roman ruins, cultural museums and monuments painting a picture of the history of the region.</span></p></div>

<div>Start your tour at the Egyptian Museum. Designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon, the museum is located in a handsome neo-classical building on Tahrir Square. Its collection ranging from the pre-dynastic era, to the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods. <span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Petra is believed to have been settled as early as 9,000 BC, and it was possibly established in the 4th century BC as the capital city of the Nabataean Kingdom. ... The earliest historical reference to Petra was an attack to the city ordered by Antigonus I in 312 BC recorded by various Greek historians.</span>

<p style="text-align: justify; "><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Petra Archaeological Site. The magnificent ruins of ancient Petra occupy a high plateau that rises out of Wadi Mousa, the Valley of Moses, in southwestern Jordan. In 300 B.C., Nabataean invaders captured the city of Petra, which had been the capital of the Edomite Kingdom, securing their hold on the region.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify; "><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Petra is half-built, half-carved into the rock, and is surrounded by mountains riddled with passages and gorges. It is one of the world's most famous archaeological sites, where ancient Eastern traditions blend with Hellenistic architecture.</span><br></p>

<div>Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the Hanging Church, which is still in use, is called the Hanging or Suspended Church as it is built on top of the Water Gate of Roman Babylon. Steep stairs lead from the forecourt to a 19th -century façade topped by twin bell towers. Beyond is a small inner courtyard, usually filled with sellers of taped liturgies and videos of the Coptic pope, Shenouda III.</div>

<div>The interior of this 9th-century (some say 7th-century) church, renovated many times throughout the centuries, has three barrel-vaulted, wooden-roofed aisles. Ivory-inlaid screens hide the three haikal s (altar areas), but in front of them, raised on 13 slender pillars that represent Christ and his disciples, is a fine pulpit used only on Palm Sunday. One of the pillars, darker than the rest, is said to symbolize Judas. In the baptistry, off to the right, a panel has been cut out of the floor revealing the Water Gate below. From here there is a good view of one of the gate's twin towers.</div>

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The small but impressive Qasr Al Kharanah, which is in the west of Amman and is the rarest and the mysterious palace in the entire world, though most scholars believe that powerful Jewish family built it sometime between 187 and 175 B.C as a villa or fortified palace. Their fine mosaics, frescoes, stone and stucco carvings and illustrations, inspired by the best in Persian and Graeco-Roman traditions, tell countless stories of the life as it was during the 8th century. Called castles because of their imposing stature, the desert complexes actually served various purposes as caravan stations, agriculture and trade centers, resort pavilions and outposts that helped distant rulers forge ties with local Bedouins. Several of these preserved compounds, all of which are clustered to the east and south of Amman.</span></div><div><div style="text-align: justify; "><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><br></span></div><div style="text-align: justify; "><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The Umayyads erected a number of characteristic palaces, some in the cities, but mostly in the semi-arid regions, and some along important trading routes. The castles were built roughly between 660 and 750 under the Umayyad Caliphate, which had made Damascus, now in Syria, their new capital in 661. After the Abbasid Revolution of 750, the capital moved to the newly-built Baghdad and some of the buildings were never completed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><br></span></div><div style="text-align: justify; "><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The typical desert castle is more than a single residence; rather it is a compound of various building including a substantial main residence along with other buildings such as a hammam (bath-house), storage areas and other agrarian structures and possibly a mosque, all within a large enclosure. The complex at Qasr al-Hayr al-Gharbi (Syria), for example, sits within a vast agricultural estate and the buildings include structures associated with the production of olive oil.</span></div></div>

This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member. She was so friendly by nature and knowledgeable person to guide us. Thanks to FLAMINGO.It was our excellent dream trip. I would rate 5 stars out of 5.

He always tried to serve the best food and at the proper time. The thing that was best in him was that he always shared some or the other things related to the place we were visiting in an interesting manner. Mr kushal shah tried to give information about the place in an easy language understoodable by every participant and never meant to behave partial with anyone.
