Later drive to Lake Myvatn area. Mývatn is a volcanic lake in northern Iceland. On the northeastern shore, Reykjahlíð village has an information center and is a base for exploring the area. East of here, Mývatn Nature Baths have a naturally heated man-made lagoon, with mineral-rich waters known for their health-giving properties. A short distance away, near Námafjall Mountain, is Hverir, a hot-springs area with boiling mud pots and fumaroles.&nbsp; After finishing you activities at Lake Myvatn drive to Akyureri. Find your guide in front of Hallgrímskirkja Church by the statue of Leifur Eiríksson. This is on a hill and the highest ground of Reykjavík, from which you can get an overview of the area. You’ll get a great introduction to Iceland's history and culture. See the Harpa Concert Hall, beautiful on the inside, which also serves well as a warm stop on cold days which are frequent in Iceland. Bifröst: On the way towards the North, we will stop for a pleasant walk through twin craters Grábrók and Grábrókarfell. The Grábrók crater was formed in a fissure eruption approximately 3400 years ago. The sight from here is absolutely stunning. Grá­brókarfell is a smaller crater covered with moss and birch bushes. These extraordinary reliefs offer an unforgettable vision.
 

Kolugljúfur: A magnificent 2 km long and 20-25 m deep canyon with waterfalls, which are named Kolufossar due to the local folktale about the Troll woman Kola. Driving to the side of the canyon and looking at this peaceful river drops into the gorge in two scenic waterfalls are a powerful experience. This sight will not let you unmoved.
 

Borgarvirki : The “Citadel” is a columnar basalt fortress and a volcanic plug. It is an unique natural phenomenon, altered by humans in earlier centuries. The sagas explain, that the fortress was used for Viking military purposes. It is one of Iceland´s most notable historic sites. There are steps leading up to the top. As you reach the top, there is a wide panoramic view over a large part of the region and a viewfinder is in place to help locate some of the important landmarks. The view from there is absolutely awesome.
 

Vatnsnes: It is a paradise for photographers and nature lovers. This place is deemed to be the best place to approach one of the biggest colonies of seals in Iceland. Do not miss this incredible spectacle of seals basking on the rocks and looking out of the corner of their eye the curious traveler. With any luck, it will even be possible to see mothers breastfeed their young. You will get closer to this nature than you had ever imagine. A wild and uninhabited finger of land with superb views out over incredible landscapes.
 

Hvammstangi: The only town of the peninsula. A quiet and peaceful place. A typical area full of charm, beautiful landscapes, great views of the mountains…
 

Hvítserkur : It is the most famous Icelandic rock. The legend tells that Hvítserkur was a troll with three legs who wanted to destroy the monastery Þingeyrar by bombarding it with a large rock and who forgot to retreat from the light and was turned to stone in the sunrise. The stunning silhouette of this rock have inspired many legends and nicknames. Emerging from the water, this massive basalt block of 15 meters high, looks like a troll, an elephant or a dinosaur, it is up to your imagination… You can see many birds shelter in every corner of the rock cut out by the erosion of the ocean. Hvítserkur rock offers a landscape which constantly moves at the rhythm of time and tides. It delivers a stunning and powerful sight and show.

We offer exciting boat trips on the lagoon in one of our four amphibian boats. During the excursion you sail among the huge icebergs in the picturesque scenery of Jökulsárlón.&nbsp; On the boat you get to taste the 1000 year old ice and if you are lucky you might even see some seals.

The waterfalls pour into the Hvítá river from ledges of less porous rock in the lava.

Svartifoss is a waterfall in the south of Iceland in Skaftafell/Vatnajökull National Park, a popular touristic site to visit.A lot of people, just like us, do a roundtrip in Iceland taking the ring road 1. Driving from Kirkjubæjarklaustur to Hof (in the south) you see a yellow sign for Skaftafell (2 km) where the trail to Svartifoss begins. There is a big (free) parking at the visitors centre of Skaftafell. Several boards give information about hiking trails, like the one to Svartifoss, and Skaftafell national park.

The Lake Mývatn area is by many considered the most beautiful place in Iceland. This has been one of Iceland’s most popular tourist destinations for decades and for a good reason. Seljalandsfoss is a waterfall in Iceland. Seljalandsfoss is located in the South Region in Iceland right by Route 1 and the road that leads to Þórsmörk Road 249. The waterfall drops 60 m and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajokull. Found just off the Ring Road, Seljalandsfoss is a majestic 200-feet waterfall. You can even walk behind it—the closest you can get to experiencing the full force of the waterfall. Surrounded by green hills and volcanic rock, Seljalandsfoss is a popular spot for photography, and during the summer months you can spot its mist from quite a distance away. Húsafell is a sprawling farm and church estate and the former site of a rectory. It is the innermost farm in Borgarfjörður in the west county of Iceland, not far from Reykholt and Reykholtsdalur. Húsafell farm now serves as a hub of service for various types of tourists visiting and residing in its surrounding area.

Skogafoss is a waterfall situated on the Skoga River in the south of Iceland at the cliffs of the former coastline. The Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country, with a width of 25 metres (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft).[1] Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days. Visitors can be drenched if they go too near the waterfall, again due to the spray.[2] According to legend, the first Viking settler in the area, Þrasi Þórólfsson, buried a treasure in a cave behind the waterfall. The legend continues that locals found the chest years later, but were only able to grasp the ring on the side of the chest before it disappeared again. The ring was allegedly given to the local church. The old church door ring is now in the Skógar museum. At the eastern side of the waterfall, a hiking and trekking trail leads up to the pass Fimmvörðuháls between the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. It goes down to Þórsmörk on the other side and continues as the Laugavegur trail to Landmannalaugar. A 527-step staircase leads up the slope to the top of the waterfall.

This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member. She was so friendly by nature and knowledgeable person to guide us. Thanks to FLAMINGO.It was our excellent dream trip. I would rate 5 stars out of 5.

<div>On the very first day Mr. Kushal shah wanted us to have a great bonding amongst each other so that we get the best experience possible. He always tried to serve the best food and at the proper time. The thing that was best in him was that he always shared some or the other things related to the place we were visiting in an interesting manner. Mr kushal shah tried to give information about the place in an easy language understoodable by every participant and never meant to behave partial with anyone. A negative or say a sad point&nbsp; was that the Orlando hotel which was felt comparatively poor quality.
