Today depart by train to Garmisch Partenkirchen. Today explore more of the actual town(s) of Garmisch and Partenkirchen. Start your morning just exploring the Altstadt of Garmisch. Wander down both Ludwigsstrasse as well as Am Kurpark. There are some more stunning Luftlmalerei (painted facades) that make this a charming Bavarian village. You’ll find local shops, cafes, Bakeries and more.
You can opt to visit the Olympic Ski Stadium and Ski Jump. You can actually take a tour of the stadium if that interests you and no matter the season, gazing upon the ski jump is a dizzying feat. Next to the stadium is the love going on these Alpine coasters and this one can give you great views!

- Day 4 :Garmisch Partenkirchen - Zugspitze
Today depart for the Zugspitze Mountain. Take the cable car to the peak of Zugspitze Mountain with a guide and enjoy spectacular views over the foothills of the Bavarian Alps. Cross the Austro-German border at the top, then take the cable car onward to the mighty glacier.
Return back on terra firma in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, explore the pretty village and immerse yourself in Bavaria’s rich history and culture.

Today depart by train from Garmisch Partenkirchen to Rothenburg. Rothenburg is named in part after its location on a plateau overlooking the Tauber River. Rothenburg ob der Tauber means “Red fortress above the Tauber” in German. There are very few places elsewhere in the world with such a wealth of original buildings dating from the Middle Ages as there are here. Today explore and stroll through Rothenburg's Spitalviertel district, passing through one of the preserved Medieval town gates or visiting the wonderful churches. St. James' Church, for example, has a beautiful stone carving depicting Christ and the sleeping apostles. Also special is the beautifully decorated St. Wolfgang's Church at the Klingentor gate. It doesn't really matter where you go in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, as a different delightful sight will appear at every turn. Today depart by train to Nuremberg is the second biggest city in the province of Bavaria. It is a must - visit place on your itinerary in Bavaria. The city is magical and filled with medieval history and castles. Today discover the history and heritage of one of Bavaria’s most picturesque cities on this 2-hour walking tour of Nuremberg Old Town.
