Garden by the bay 9.jpg

Gardens By the Bay (Flower Dome & Cloud Forest)

Located by the Marina Bay waterfront in the center of Singapore, the Garden by the Nature is a sanctuary for lovers and budding horticulturists.

Counting three different locations over 101 hectares - Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden - this view of lush greenery has garnered many accolades since its first opening in 2012.

These include the 'Landscape Award' from World Architecture News in 2013, The Best Attraction in Asia Pacific in 2015 and the Singapore Tourism Awards 2015 Best Attraction Experience from Travel Weekly.

Flower dome
The interior of the Flower Dome in the Garden by the Bay
The beauty of nature attracts tourists to the Flower Dome in Bay South Garden. Covering an area of ??1.28 hectares, this crescent space is larger than three cooled conservators, and in 2015 broke the Guinness World Record as the world's largest glass greenhouse. It ranges from five continents to thousand-year-old olive trees to magnolia for plants and flowers. And orchids.

While certainly one of the Bay's most spectacular attractions, the Garden, the Flower Dome is only a distance from the flower paradise that awaits visitors.

Flower fantasy
Floral fantasy interior in the garden by the bay
As you explore the garden by your leisurely bay, be sure to keep an eye out for floral fantasy.

The second part of the three indoor conservatory of the garden unfolds in the field of both history and fantasy. Each of its four different regions draws inspiration from fairy tales and the hanging hanging gardens of Babylon, which feature celestial spaces, dramatic drift sculptures and floral works.

Cloud forest
The Garden by the Bay's third conservatory - aptly called the Cloud Forest - is a misty landscape of rare vegetation and dramatic vistas.

Cloud Mountain, located above the Conservatories Fern and Pitcher Plants, is a 35-meter-tall structure surrounded by mist and covered with lush vegetation. When you measure its heights, your imagination becomes high, and life is revealed from the tropical highlands.

Super tree Grove
When you exit the conservatory, you are likely to notice a grove of growing, surreal structures known as super trees. These vertical gardens are at an altitude of 25 to 50 meters, of which two massive structures are attached to the dramatic arch of the OCBC Skyway. When the evening sets in, the Grove Garden becomes a spectacle of light and sound with rapsody. For an unforgettable view of Singapore, climb to the top of the Super tree Observatory, a 50-meter-high observation deck that boasts an unobstructed vista of the beautiful Marina Bay district.

Close your visit to the Garden by the Bay with an unforgettable sunset at Bay East Gardens. The lush green lawns and beautiful waterfront will give you an unequaled view of the Singapore skyline.
