The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is situated northwest of the town of Kegelle, halfway between the present Capital Colombo amd the ancient royal residence Kandy. It was well-known in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Wildlife Department in a 25 acre coconut property next to the Maha Oya River. The orphanage was at first founded in order to afford care and protection to the many orphaned elephants found in the jungles of Sri Lanka. In the year 1978 the orphanage was taken over by the National Zoological plant enclosures from the Department of Wildlife. And the elephants at the orphanage aren’t subjected to any form of stress, abuse or threat at all and are supported by a team of employees numbering to over 100 including a group of mahouts. The main aim of this orphanage is to stimulate a natural habitat to these elephants.
The Kandy Lake Club Cultural Dance Show is a stimulating Sri Lankan Arts, Dance & Cultural Heritage Show that is a must see for any visitor who visits the historic city of Kandy. The Kandy Lake Club Dance started in 1982 with the view of having a cultural dance performance bringing together all Sri Lankan dance types to one platform. It is the first Cultural Dance Show of its kind to be established in Sri Lanka. It has since become a tourist attraction for many people visiting the country and keen on a glimpse of its rich cultural heritage. Hence it has been performing continuously for the last 35 years.

TCS Terms and Conditions
TCS Applicable on booking of Overseas Tour Package as per provisions of Section 394 of the Income Tax Bill 2025
5% TCS on spends towards International Holiday Packages for cumulative spends (within or outside Flamingo Transworld Pvt Ltd) up to Rs 10 Lakhs in a financial year and
20% TCS for incremental spends beyond Rs. 10 Lakhs in the same Financial year
(Declaration to be submitted by the buyer of overseas tour program package to Flamingo Transworld Pvt Ltd)
The amount of TCS paid is non-refundable in case of cancellation of tour.
On validating PAN - AADHAR Seeding if found not Linked, TCS will be applicable on 20% & TCS Credit might not appear in Form 26 / AIS / TIS and TCS Certificates will not be available. Also Booking will get cancelled and Cancellation charges along with 20% TCS will apply.

Please note that SLTDA & Sri Lankan government has decided to remove – arrival PCR & quarantine regulation until end of Oct 2021. Hopefully this might extend but if they didn’t do the same, will have to go ahead with earlier given protocols. However Clients can Travel freely as used to with these both options. If they go back to the earlier protocols they will have to be quarantined for 01 night with USD 40 per person for the arrival PCR this would be an optional.

Given cost is estimated, based on lowest hotel rates existing as of now. We Don’t Hold Any Confirmation For Hotels. It’s Subject To availability at the time of booking. Any difference in cost shall be borne by Passenger.
In Hill station places (like shimla ,Manali , nainital , kausani , Munnar , Thekkady) the AC facility will not be there in the rooms.
At some places & at some hotels the higher category rooms are there with AC but that will be possible with the supplement cost.
The vehicle like tempo travelers are not of very good condition so rather opt for Innova.
Check-in time at Hotel is 1400 Hrs& Check-out time is 1100 Hrs.
Your tours and transfers are based on tour itinerary & not at disposal basis.
Your Itinerary will be strictly on timings.
Room Rates based on Standard Rooms. Supplement cost will be applicable for Valley Facing / higher category rooms.
Breakfast will start from Day 2 of the itinerary.

On hilly areas the CAR AC will not work.
During sightseeing the vehicle will go up to permissible point only, from that point any arrangement to be made all extra expenses shall have to be borne by the passengers.
Extra bed in the room means only extra mattress.(no cot)
Any govt. tax levied must be borne by the passengers only.
Pre-ponement of journey is not allowed. It will be treated as cancellation & accordingly the cancellation charges will be applicable.
If accommodation is not available in the identified / specific hotel for the particular package tour due to reason beyond our control, we shall make our best efforts to shift the clients to hotel maintaining / having more or less the same standard. No complaint or claim shall be made by the client in this respect.
If any airline is delayed or cancelled, our company is not responsible for any compensation for hotels, meals, sightseeing or any other claim.
