You might wish to undertake one of the hiking trails, such as the panoramic circular hike (less than an hour) or the more challenging ridgeway hike which connects Fronalpstock with Klingenstock. You can take a guided hike through the forest to learn about its development and history, as the path leads you through individual vegetation phases following the retreat of the glaciers. Winter visits The area can be enjoyed all year round. In winter, there is skiing as well as thrilling toboggan runs and scenic winter hiking trails. The short winter hiking trail on the summit will show you the entire 360-degree snow-covered panorama. From Brunnen and Lucerne take the train to lively Schywz, the regional capital town, followed by the bus to the Stoosbahn funicular valley station. In addition, the Cave Museum is well worth a visit to learn more about this world of caves and all there is to know about caving. From the “Beatushöhlen” STI stop on bus route 21, the cave entrance is a short walk through the forest. Along the way, visitors will cross several bridges and see the gushing waterfall as it makes its way out of the cave. Approximately 14km of the extensive cave system have been explored to date. Visitors can wander through one kilometre of this on their own during their visit. Whatever the time of year, the temperature in the caves is constant between 8°C and 10°C. It is therefore advisable to dress warmly! The St. Beatus Caves with their internal gorges, imposing caverns and babbling waterfalls exude a special power. The paths through the cave passages are safe and easy to follow thanks to modern, electric lighting. Guests can take a tour of the mighty stalactite formations and gaze in awe at the unique shapes and colours to be found in the various caves. Along the way, 25 information boards in German and English provide interesting information about the St. Beatus Caves. Finally, it’s worth making a detour to the new Beatus shop, which sells a wide range of regional products. <div style="text-align: justify; ">These beautiful falls in the Bernese Oberland are famous as the setting for Sherlock Holmes’ apparent death in Sir Arthur Canon Doyle’s stories. You can take a funicular up to a lookout over the falls, then optionally hike up about 30 mins along the falls to see more up close.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">At the top, there’s a restaurant with a nice view of the valley. You can optionally rent mountain scooter to ride down instead of the funicular.</div><div style="text-align: justify; ">It’s a short outing so you’ll want to combine this with other activities, like a visit to the nearby Aare Gorge. Then go get the traditional meringue and cream dessert in the nearby village Meiringen.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">The mighty Lütschine offers some of the best whitewater rafting in the Swiss Alps. Straight from the start below the Eiger north face, continuous class III-IV rapids surge down from the mountains and out into the Interlaken valley and the Lake of Brienz. They alone carry the meltwater of the glaciers from the Jungfrau down to the valley - up to 20,000 liters of water per second. The water carries with it over 20,000 tons of boulders and scree per year and causes the entire mountain to shudder and make a thundering noise. The Trümmelbach Falls are part of the Lauterbrunnen Valley's 72 waterfalls, among them also the imposing Staubbach Falls. The hiking tour on mainly flat land leads from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg, past water gushing from vertical rock faces that are several hundred meters high."<br></div>

Surrounded by lush forests and “I can’t believe they’re real” mountains, Lake Blausee is like that show-off sibling with all the good genes.Where is Lake Blausee &amp; How To Get There Lake Blausee is located in a small nature park called Balusee Naturpark in the Kander Valley, Bernese Oberland, which is basically the highest part of the canton (state) of Bern.The Blausee Nature Park spans over 20 hectares, boasting a stunning landscape shaped by a historic rockslide that created the turquoise-blue lake you’ll fall in love with the instant you see it.You can see from the map below that Lake Blausee is not far from to city of Bern and basically halfway between Zurich and Geneva. The map gives you an idea of the driving routes to get there, but from a scenic point of view, wherever you are coming from, I recommend the train.</div><div style="text-align: justify; "><br></div>

A trip on the Gelmerbahn is an experience like no other, with a turquoise mountain lake awaiting you after the rattling 12-minute trip backwards up the mountain. With a gradient of 106 percent, it is undoubtedly the steepest open passenger funicular railway in Europe. Originally built to transport building material weighing several tonnes, this technological masterpiece now offers an unforgettable rail experience. Once you have reached the top, we recommend a tour around the wild, romantic Lake Gelmer or a hike up to the Gelmerhütte.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify; "><b>EQUIPMENT</b></div><ul><li style="text-align: justify; ">The Gelmerbahn takes you up to Lake Gelmer at an altitude of around 1,850 metres above sea level. The special winter bath is one where a tub filled with almost 40-degree water is out in the open air. The clear, fresh winter air flows soothingly into the lungs, while the warm water relaxes the limbs. Happiness is brought to all those with access to a hot tub. Could there be anything better? Actually, yes! And that’s a hot tub floating on the lake. Hot Tug is the name, and the only one in the country is on Lake Brienz near Interlaken. This bathtub and boat combo is filled with 38-degree water and has space for up to six people. Thanks to the electric motor, guests chug around Lake Brienz in comfort during their soothing bath. A small wooden stove ensures the water is kept warm during the 90-minute trip. A winter bath could hardly be more spectacular: the slopes with their snow-covered forests rise steeply on both sides of the lake shore, and towards the west the view opens up to the snow-covered peaks of the Bernese Alps – for panoramic wellness with a unique mountain backdrop."</div></div>

All of these activities come at an additional cost. The trail from the main complex out to Mönchsjochhütte may look short and easy, but it takes 45 minutes to walk this distance (2.4 km one-way). And it’s worth it. This was our favorite experience at Jungfraujoch. To get to Mönchsjochhütte, it is an uphill walk on a well-groomed snow trail. It looks easy in photos, but at this elevation, it’s more challenging than you might expect. Small hills take your breath away. In the summer, as the sun warms up the snow, it can get slushy which makes walking more difficult.</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">But the views over the Aletsch Glacier are magnificent. It really feels like you are walking on top of the world</span></div>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Chillon Castle is located on a rock on the banks of Lake Geneva. The water castle is the most visited historic building in Switzerland. For nearly four centuries Chillon was the residence and profitable toll station of the Counts of Savoy.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The rock island between Lake Geneva and the steep looming mountains was inhabited even in prehistoric times. For hundreds of years the passage of ships on Lake Geneva and the important land route to the St. Bernhard Pass was controlled from this island. Chillon belonged to the Counts of Savoy from the 12th to the 16th century, then the inhabitants of Bern conquered the water castle, and subsequently the inhabitants of Vaud prevailed.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">It’s possible to rent the castle for various events. From the Castle, you can reach Montreux (by boat, by bus or on foot), where you can admire ten mile of sheltered bays, bordered with flower-lined promenades, exotic plants and palm trees.<br></p><p style="text-align: justify;">More than 400,000 guests visit Chillon per year. They view the wall paintings from the 14th century, the subterranean vaults, parade halls and the bedroom (which has been preserved in its original form) dating to the time of Bernese rule. This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member. She was so friendly by nature and knowledgeable person to guide us. Thanks to FLAMINGO.It was our excellent dream trip. I would rate 5 stars out of 5.

South Africa so well organised and memorable

<div>With flamingo tours, it was our 1st trip which is made a memorable one. Our tour manager Mr. kushal shah is just perfect guide.</div>
<div>On the very first day <span style="font-weight: bold;">Mr. Kushal shah</span> wanted us to have a great bonding amongst each other so that we get the best experience possible. He always tried to serve the best food and at the proper time. The thing that was best in him was that he always shared some or the other things related to the place we were visiting in an interesting manner. Mr kushal shah tried to give information about the place in an easy language understoodable by every participant and never meant to behave partial with anyone. A negative or say a sad point&nbsp; was that the Orlando hotel which was felt comparatively poor quality. We were given quality shopping time and he also enlisted what activities are to be done in parks that are the best in that particular part. It was overall a very good and unforgettable experience.&nbsp;</div>
