Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Delhi
    Arrive at Delhi Airport, and transfer to the hotel. (if arrival is midnight then 01nt prior booking is advised)
    Take rest for some time. Take a sightseeing tour, visiting Raj ghat, Parliament, President’s house, India gate and Gandhi Smarak, Lotus Temple, Akshardham. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 2 :Delhi
    Today after breakfast Visit Humayun Tomb - The tomb is famous for its workmanship of exceptional quality and architectural brilliance, Qutub Minar- an impressive 72-meter-high victory tower built in 1199 and the site of the first Muslim kingdom in North India,. Later visit  Chandni Chowk - one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi.  It  is located close to Old Delhi Railway Station, its also one of the biggest markets to shop, eat and stroll around. Enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk and savor some local delicacies of Delhi, a small tour to experience Authentic Delhi cuisines. Later visit Red Fort – Enjoy the extravagant sound show at Red Fort. (Show timings: 7.30 to 8.30 in Hindi, 9 to 10 pm in English)
    Overnight stay at hotel. 
    Note: Monuments in Delhi are closed on Monday.

  • Day 3 :Delhi - Agra - (4 hrs – 211 KM)
    Early morning proceed to Experience the beauty of Taj Mahal with the beautiful Sunrise View.
    Return to the hotel and Take breakfast. 
    Free time for leisure.

    Evening Enjoy  - MOHABBAT THE TAJ SHOW – at Kalakriti Convention Centre. Timings: 06:15 PM (Duration: 80 minutes)
    Mohabbat the Taj - A show which has taken seven years of chiseling and carving by 28 craftsmen and designers. Made in pure white Makrana marble like the original 17th-century monument, a Taj Mahal replica. The workmanship and stone inlay work closely resembles the original. This program has exciting and innovative presentation of a song and drama spectacle involving 60 artists, they have tried to merry the traditional media with the latest gadgetry, audiovisual technology, including laser. The Taj will be presented in 10 different moods, representing varying seasons and hours of the day.' The model of the Taj will appear on stage with the help of a hydraulic lift as laser beams dance all over, creating an ecstatic climax for the spectacle titled 'Mohabbat -the Taj'. The show is about a  love story set in the 17th-century ambiance and woven around the Taj. 
    Overnight stay at Agra.

  • Day 4 :Agra - Jaipur Via Fatehpur Sikri - (6 Hrs - 255 Kms)
    Take breakfast and drive to the pink City Jaipur.  En route visit Fatehpur Sikri one of the best preserved collections of Indian Mughal architect-preserved. Fatehpur Sikri is a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque and nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site.
    On arrival check into the hotel.
    Evening take a stroll to the local market for some shopping.

  • Day 5 :Jaipur
    Today after breakfast take a  Full day Guided Tour of Jaipur city. Amer Fort offers a beautiful panoramic view of Jaipur,  Amer, which is 11 kilometers from Jaipur. Amer, originally, was the capital of the state before Jaipur. It is an old fort, built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh. This fort is also very popularly known as the Amer Palace. The Amer Fort was built in red sandstone and marble and the Martha Lake adds a certain charm to the entire Fort. (elephant ride to be done before 12 pm)
    Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) Located in the heart of Jaipur, this beautiful five-story palace was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh who belonged to the Kachhwaha Rajput dynasty. 
    City palace:  the City Palace was where the Maharaja reigned from. This palace also includes the famous ‘Chandra Mahal' and ‘Mubarak Mahal, and other buildings which form a part of the palace complex.
    Jantar Mantar observatory (the best preserved astronomical observatory of all five constructed by Sawai Jai Singh II) 
    Nahargarh Fort, The Indian state of Rajasthan is famous for its royal heritage. Formed by the union of many princely states ruled mainly by Rajputs, Rajasthan has many forts and palaces. Some of these palaces and forts are associated with important historical events as well.

Red Fort

The Red Fort Complex was built because the palace fort of Shahjahanabad – the new capital of the fifth Mughal Emperor of India, Shah Jahan . Named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone, it's adjacent to an older fort, the Salimgarh, built by Islam Shah Suri in 1546, with which it forms the Red Fort Complex. The private apartments contains a row of pavilions connected by endless water channel, referred to as the Nahr-i-Behisht (Stream of Paradise). The Red Fort is considered to represent the zenith of Mughal creativity which, under the Shah Jahan, was brought to a new level of refinement. The planning of the palace is predicated on Islamic prototypes, but each pavilion reveals architectural elements typical of Mughal building, reflecting a fusion of Persian, Timurid and Hindu traditions The Red Fort’s innovative planning and style of architecture , including the garden design, strongly influenced later buildings and gardens in Rajasthan, Delhi, Agra and further afield.

Akshardham

Akshardham Temple may be a spiritual complex nestled in New Delhi and may be a popular Hindu temple of Delhi. This marvelous temple was constructed within the year 2005 at Noida Mor region of latest Delhi and is referred as Akshardham Temple of Swaminarayam Akshardham. Qutub Minar

Delhi's Qutub Minar, at 72.5 meters or 238 feet tall, is that the tallest tower in India. Built as an Islamic monument within the early 13th century of red sandstone and marble, the minar isn't without controversy. Some believe the tower was built to celebrate Muslim rule out the country, et al. claim it had been erected to call the dedicated to prayer. The surrounding complex houses the primary mosque to be inbuilt India, tombs, a madrassa, and an iron pillar that's mysteriously immune to corrosion, even after being exposed to the natural elements for centuries. Until 1981, visitors were able to climb the 379 stairs to the top of Qutub Minar, but the interior is now closed.

Humayun's Tomb

Humayun's tomb within the capital Delhi may be a fine specimen of the good Mughal architecture. Built in 1570, the tomb is of particular cultural significance because it was the primary garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. Its unique beauty is claimed to possess inspired several major architectural innovations, culminating within the construction of the unparalleled Taj Mahal . In many ways, this magnificent red and white sandstone building is as spectacular as the famous 'monument to love' in Agra. This historic monument was erected by Humayun's queen Hamida Banu Begam (Haji Begam) at a price of about 1.5 million. It is believed that she designed the tomb. The structure is built with red sandstone, but white and black marble has been used in the borders. UNESCO has declared this magnificent masterpiece a world heritage.

Parliament House

The governance centre of world's largest democracy, India, Parliament home is one among the foremost impressive buildings in Delhi. A fine specimen of symmetry and architecture, it's spherical in shape, and comprises three semicircular chambers that house the Rajya Sabha (Upper House) and therefore the Lok Sabha (House of the People) and a central library. About 144 columns increase the sweetness of the building, alongside beautiful gardens and fountains. The boundary wall of the building features sandstone blocks carved in intricate geometric patterns. One can visit the house by obtaining a politician permission. Parliament House was inbuilt 1921, and its stone was laid by the Duke of Connaught and it had been inaugurated in 1927 by Lord and woman Irwin. It was designed by Herbert Baker. It is said that the Constitution of India was drafted during this building.
