    Arrive at Delhi Airport, meet the assistance and drive to Shimla - the land of pine scented hills, beautiful Shali peaks, crisp winter skies, fragrant cedar forests, romantic mists and golden hillsides. On arrival check into the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Shimla.

    Today morning after breakfast drive to Kufri valley - located 16 kms from Shimla, it commands a panoramic view of the majestic Himalayas. Then after proceed to explore Naldehra - 23kms - under a skyline engrave with conifers, Naldehra offers a well-prepare nine hole golf course. Evening take a visit to a Mall road to visit Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Hanuman, from where you enjoy an excellent view of Shimla. Next visit the Viceregal Lodge - formerly the residence of the British Viceroy of India – that houses ancient articles and photographs dating back to the times of the British rule in India which once served as the seat of power, The Ridge and the Christ church. Naggar Castle  Art Gallery : It is a heaven for all the art lovers. This place will make happy anyone who loves art and paintings. The castle is also a heritage hotel. Hadimba Devi Temple : It is an old cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata. Tibetan Monastery : Manali Gompa is a great place to learn about the Buddhist culture. Famous for its wall paintings, architecture and Chortens, this place is a must-visit if you are looking for some religious and spiritual atmosphere. The landscape around this Gompa is also stunning. It is also famous for its pagoda-style architecture. Vashisht Temple for hot sulphur springs : just outside Manali, across the river Beas, known for its hot sulphur springs whose water is said to have curative properties.     Today early Morning  around 5.30 am proceed for an excursion to Rohtang Pass  (At Personal Cost through Union Vehicle)Rohtang Pass is a tall mountain pass on the located on the eastern PirPanjal Range of the Himalayas situated 50 kms from Manali, 3978 meters high, It joints the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh and further to Ladakh. Spend some time at Rohtang, do photography, enjoy playing in snow, and having tasteful Maggi and hot tea. While coming back if time permits, stop by Solang valley to enjoy some adventure sports ike Paragliding, Zorbing (activities at own cost) (operational of this activity depends on the weather conditions.)Return to your hotel in the evening.     Today Morning after breakfast start little early, take full day trip of sightseeing place of Dalhousie covering Khajjiar - a popular tourist spot, the most beautiful and lush green place where you can enjoy photography and Horse riding (at additional cost). It’s also known as ‘Mini Switzerland’. Nearly by a thick cover of deodar and pine trees with the snow capped Himalayas in the backdrop. Visit  Singing Hill’, Dainkund Peak is one of the well known places  in Dalhousie. One can enjoy refreshing views of the green hills, valleys and plains while they’re here. But what makes it stand out is the charming view of the three rivers – Chenab, Ravi and Beas, that weave through these greens below and enhance the beauty of this place manifold. St. John’s Church:  It is the oldest church in the town and has a lot of religious and historical importance.   • Day 8 :Dalhousie - Amritsar - (5 HRS – 200 KMS)
    Today Morning after breakfast check out early and drive to Amritsar. Amritsar : the city was built in 1577. The city is home to one of the holiest Sikh Shrines called Golden Temple, a memorial of national importance known as Jallianwala Bagh, and the Partition Museum that’ll remind you of the post-partition riots. The Gobind garh Fort and Rambagh, built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh are also among the jewels of the city. On arrival check into the hotel. Freshen up. Later drive to Attari Wagah Border (31 kms from Amritsar) to witness the prestigious and awe-inspiring ‘Lowering of the Flags’ ceremony before closing the Border gates at the time of sunset.     Today morning After breakfast, visit to different tourist places in Amritsar. The list includes Golden Temple (known as Harmandir Sahib), Golden Temple : This architectural marvel is only a small part of this huge gurudwara complex, known to Sikhs as Harmandir Sahib (or Darbar Sahib). The temple sits on a rectangular platform, with all sides by a pool of water called the Amrit Sarovar, from which the city received its name. The Guru Granth Sahib (Holy book of Sikhs) is installed in the temple every morning, and returned at night to the Akal Takhat, the temporal seat of the Khalsa brotherhood. With the support of Hukam Singh Chimni and Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the temple was decorated with the stunning gold and marble work that continues to inspire awe in admirers from all over the world today. The beauty of Golden temple is at is best during sunrise and after sunset when the temple is lit up.Akal Takht : the highest seat of the authority of Khalsa. Any order from the one seated in the Akal Takht is mandatory for all Sikhs. It is situated within the Golden Temple complex. Later visit Jallianwala Bagh Jallianwala Bagh has the  most tragic yet landmark events in the history of India where many people were massacred by East Indian Company during Revolution time. The walls are spotted with bullet marks and holes telling you the story of the disaster that took place, back on 13th April 1919. The park has information plaques at places to help you know the historical importance of each spot there Ramgarh : The Ramgarh Palace, which used to be the summer residence of Maharaja Ranjit Singh is now a beautiful museum. It has the royal arms and arm our, paintings, manuscripts and various other personal belongings of the King. Gobind garh Fort : The very symbol of Punjab has an aspiring story. You will then return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay. This magnificent heritage site has a famous history of its own. Right from the era of Bhangi Misl – 257 years old to the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh to the British East India Company to the Indian Army to now the people of Punjab. Buddhists believe that rolling these wheels gives you freedom.The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa is situated near the Mall in Manali. The monastery is run by the local people who gather funds through donations. The unique feature of the monastery is the handicrafts of Tibetan artistry and the carpets that are woven and sold in the monastery. The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa was constructed in the year 1969. The architecture of the monastery represents the Tibetan style of architecture designed with hued frescoes. The statue of the Lord Buddha presides in the monastery.The Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa is situated near the market place in Manali. The architecture of this monastery replicates a more modern style than the earlier one. Placed in the midst of sunflowers, the monastery glows at night with light bulbs lit to lighten it up. The huge gold faced bronze statue of Lord Buddha presides over the monastery.

Rohtang Pass (Optional Cost )

Rohtang pass is situated at a distance of 51 kilometers from the main town and it is also said to be a gateway to Lahaul and Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Important Notes:  
  • Local vehicles are not allowed there because for rohtang pass need to take online permit before one day with necessary documents , Better you can do their union vehicle it has already permit .The only reason behind doing this is to save the delicate ecology of the pass and stop the environmental damage. 
  • No Vehicles are allowed on TUESDAY as the day is marked for maintenance of Rohtang Pass 
  • Make sure you plan your trip so that you reach the pass while it is still daylight. The path is quite difficult, the roads are winding, the altitudes are high, and it gets colder as the day progresses. So it is better to start early during the day so that you can come back in time 
  • Make sure you wear warm clothes as it gets quite cold in the mountains. Additionally, it is recommended to keep a thermos of tea or coffee, and pack some snacks too. 
  • If you are planning to rent snow clothes, make sure you compare the prices with the fixed prices decided by the government.
  • Since oxygen levels are low in the mountains, you may get altitude sickness. Pack some necessary medications for such cases.

At a distance of 21.5 km from Manali 1.5 km from Naggar Castle, The Nicholas Roerich Museum is one of the prominent museums in and around Manali.Nicholas Roerich, a reputed artist had chosen Naggar as his residence when he came to India in 1929. The house has now been converted into an art gallery with lots of rare paintings and art. The gallery is visited by a lot of tourists.The Nicholas Roerich art gallery was founded in 1962 by Svyetoslav Roerich, son of Nicholas Roerich. The building that now houses the gallery once served as the residence of Nicholas Roerich. Himachal Pradesh Government and Russian Government have formed a trust to run this art gallery as the Roerich Heritage Museum. Paintings of Kullu, Spiti and Lahaul made by the painter have been housed in the ground floor of the gallery. A great number of his works are preserved in museums all over the world. Most of the paintings show the beauty of ice covered valleys and peaks during early hours of evening.  The artist's private rooms have been preserved in the upper floor of the museum. There are also a few photos of Nicholas on display here, such as the one in which he is posing in his front Lawn with Jawaharlal Nehru. The original work of Roerich on the Himalayas, along with his quotations and words of wisdom as well as those of the visitors and admirers of the gallery, have also been put on display here.
