Experience the rush of wind while soaring through the clear skies of Bir Billing - known to be the paragliding capital of India. It attracts adventurers from different cultures and ages and offers a chance to glide over the Dhauladhar ranges, lush green fields, the beautiful water streams, and nature's bounty.
Paragliding in Bir Billing can be enjoyed between September and June. During the months of November and December, beautiful snow-covered landscapes can be enjoyed while paragliding. Paragliding is closed during the months of July and August due to the monsoon season.
Though there is no age limit for paragliding, if you are under 18, you are not allowed to fly without your parents. As to the weight, you can enjoy paragliding as long as you do not weigh over 120 kg.

Mata Mansa Devi is a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Mansa Devi, a form of Shakti, in the Panchkula district of Haryana state in India. The temple complex is spread of 100 acres of the Shivalik foothills in the village of Bilaspur, near Sector 13 of Chandigarh, and Panchkula, 10 km from Chandi Mandir, another noted Devi shrine in the region, both just outside Chandigarh. It is one of the prominent Shakti temples of North India involving 7 goddesses, namely Mata Mansa Devi, Naina Devi, Jawalamukhi, Chintpurni, Brajeshwari, Chamunda Devi and Jayanti Devi. Chandigarh Capitol Complex, located in the sector-1 of Chandigarh city in India, is a government compound designed by the architect Le Corbusier and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is spread over an area of around 100 acres and is a prime manifestation of Chandigarh's architecture. It comprises three buildings: the Palace of Assembly or Legislative Assembly, Secretariat Building and the High Court plus four monuments and a lake. The Capitol Complex is Le Corbusier's most spectacular work, which makes Chandigarh unique from other places of India. He conceived the master plan of Chandigarh as analogous to human body. The concept of the city is based on four major functions of living, working, taking care of the body and spirit and circulation. The Capitol Complex serves as the seat of the government of the states of Punjab and Haryana. It is spread over an area of around 100 acres and is a prime manifestation of Chandigarh's architecture. Located in the center of the Capitol Complex is the Open Hand Monument. This metallic sculpture is the official emblem of Chandigarh and was also designed by Le Corbusier. It signifying the city's credo of 'open to give' 'open to receive'. Amongst the other monumental places to visit in Chandigarh are the Tower of Shadows, Geometric Hill, and Martyr's Memorial.
