These monasteries are encircling by many small shops selling alluring handicrafts and carpets, which are built by the Tibetan people living around these monasteries.Tibetan Monastery also run a carpet weaving center &amp; Thanksgiving School of Arts to conserve primitive Tibetan art. The paintings inside these buildings portray events from the life and period of Lord Buddha, that is, the wheel of life fixed on the wall of the monastery depicts the human life cycle. Buddhists believe that rolling these wheels gives you freedom.The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa is situated near the Mall in Manali. The monastery is run by the local people who gather funds through donations. The unique feature of the monastery is the handicrafts of Tibetan artistry and the carpets that are woven and sold in the monastery. The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa was constructed in the year 1969. The architecture of the monastery represents the Tibetan style of architecture designed with hued frescoes. The statue of the Lord Buddha presides in the monastery.The Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa is situated near the market place in Manali. The architecture of this monastery replicates a more modern style than the earlier one. Placed in the midst of sunflowers, the monastery glows at night with light bulbs lit to lighten it up. The huge gold faced bronze statue of Lord Buddha presides over the monastery.</p>

It is dedicated to the Hindu God, Hanuman. This hill is situated 2.5 km from the Ridge at the height of 2,455 m above sea level and is Shimla’s highest peak. From the hill, visitors can enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the Shivalik Ranges and the sister town of Sanjauli. The 108 feet tall idol of Lord Hanuman which is located at the top of the hill and is a big attraction for tourists.&nbsp; &nbsp;The premises hold several paintings that represent the story of Hanuman during Ramayana. Installed in 2010, the 108 feet long idol of Hanuman is an attraction in itself and has enticed a huge number of tourists throughout the years. Illuminated with lights in the night, it is a grand sight to watch on your Shimla tour and is visible from anywhere in Shimla. Legend and myth suggests that the monkey Lord Hanuman rested here while on his search for the Sanjivini Booti (a kind of herb). He met sage Yaaku on the hilltop and then moved ahead in his journey. The Viceregal Lodge, also known as the "Rashtrapati Niwas", is now restyled into the Indian Institute of Advanced Study and students come here for higher studies. The building has an English Renaissance style of architecture, where the colour of the limestone is grey. This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member. He always tried to serve the best food and at the proper time. The thing that was best in him was that he always shared some or the other things related to the place we were visiting in an interesting manner. Mr kushal shah tried to give information about the place in an easy language understoodable by every participant and never meant to behave partial with anyone. A negative or say a sad point&nbsp; was that the Orlando hotel which was felt comparatively poor quality.
