<p>Jibhi Waterfall is a beautiful natural wonder nestled in the serene hills of Himachal Pradesh. <p style="text-align: justify; ">Located at an altitude of 2730 Mtr. Prashar is known for Prashar lake, sloppy meadows, dense forest and the panoramic view of snow clad ranges of Dhauladhar. The “Prashar Lake” which has perimeter of about 300 mtr. is decorated by a floating island in it. Its crystal clear water adds to the charm of this scenic spot. Traditionally, it is believed that the lake was formed as result of striking of rod (Gurj) by Rishi Prashar and water came out and took shape of the lake. An ancient Pagoda style temple dedicated to the Rishi Prashar, the patron God of Mandi region, stands besides the lake. The temple has been constructed by the King Ban Sen in 13-14th century with the Rishi being present in the form of a Pindi (stone). It is also said that the whole temple was built by using single deodar tree and it took 12 years to complete the temple construction. A walk around the lake gives a mystical experience of calmness of the surroundings. A visit to Parashar is a perfect blend of spiritual journey and exploring into the serene and beautiful Himalayan mountains. Several camping sites are also located here and it is the base for numerous easy &amp; hard treks. People from Mandi and other adjoining Districts visit the place for worshiping Prashar Rishi and believe that their wishes shall be fulfilled by blessings of the Rishi. In the month of June “Saranauhali” fair takes place which is attended by large number of locals from Mandi and Kullu Districts. A forest Rest House, HPPWD Rest House and Sarain of temple committee are available for night stay.</p>

<p>Parashar Lake is a freshwater lake located at an elevation of 2,730 metres in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It lies 49 km east of the town of Mandi, and has a three storied pagoda-like temple dedicated to the sage Parashara situated on its bank. It contains a floating island.</p>

<p>Seruvalsar Lake is a high altitude lake in the Seraj Valley of the Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, India. The lake is about 3,100 metres above the sea level and is surrounded by thick forest cover. Seruvalsar Lake is accessible via Jalori pass.</p>

<p>At a distance of 91 km from Mandi, Shikari Devi Temple is a Hindu shrine located near Janjehli in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the popular places of pilgrimage in Himachal and among the must-visit places in Mandi for trekking enthusiasts.</p><p>Situated at an elevation of 3359 m, the Shikari Devi temple is located atop Sikhari Devi Peak, the highest peak of the Mandi district. It is believed that the temple has been existing since the time of Mahabharata. The temple is dedicated to Shikari Devi, the Goddess of hunters. In the archaic days, the hunters or shikaris of the region would worship the Goddess in the temple to seek blessings for a successful hunt. Hence, the temple got its name, Shikari Devi. Besides, the temple also has a great significance in the holy book Markandeya Purana as sage Markandeya is believed to have meditated in this beautiful temple.</p><p>The temple is on a flat cemented square platform and the goddess is idolized in the form of a stone image. The most interesting fact about Shikari Devi Temple is that this temple does not have a roof as no one has ever been able to build a roof over the top of this temple. It has been observed that even though the temple has no roof, no snow is spotted inside the temple during winters when the entire region around this temple is covered up to several feet by snow.</p><p>Visitors can reach Shikari Devi either from the towns of Karsog (21 km) or Janjehli (16 km). One can hike the whole way or hire a car. Vast green pastures, plenty of wildflowers, captivating sunrise, and sunset, panoramic view of snow ranges make this place favorite among nature lovers. The road stops about a kilometer short of the temple, from where one has to climb nearly 550 steps to reach the temple. Visitors can trek to Chindi, Karsog, Janjehli through different trek routes from Shikari.</p>

This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member. She was so friendly by nature and knowledgeable person to guide us. Thanks to FLAMINGO.It was our excellent dream trip. I would rate 5 stars out of 5.
