In the year 1905, Lord Curzon was captivated by the beauty of the region and so he made his favourite camping site just outside the British summer capital of Shimla. What he made in 19's is now considered as one of the most scenic golf course in the country. Also, it is believed that in the memory of his stay he named this place as Alexandra Naldehra, which was the name of her theird daughter. These monasteries are encircling by many small shops selling alluring handicrafts and carpets, which are built by the Tibetan people living around these monasteries.Tibetan Monastery also run a carpet weaving center &amp; Thanksgiving School of Arts to conserve primitive Tibetan art. The paintings inside these buildings portray events from the life and period of Lord Buddha, that is, the wheel of life fixed on the wall of the monastery depicts the human life cycle. Buddhists believe that rolling these wheels gives you freedom.The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa is situated near the Mall in Manali. The monastery is run by the local people who gather funds through donations. The unique feature of the monastery is the handicrafts of Tibetan artistry and the carpets that are woven and sold in the monastery. The Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa was constructed in the year 1969. The architecture of the monastery represents the Tibetan style of architecture designed with hued frescoes. The statue of the Lord Buddha presides in the monastery.The Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa is situated near the market place in Manali. The architecture of this monastery replicates a more modern style than the earlier one. Placed in the midst of sunflowers, the monastery glows at night with light bulbs lit to lighten it up. It is also said that during the time of Ramayana this ashram was residence of Vashisht Rishi (The Guru of Lord Rama and Lakshman).And it is located inside the very well-known Vashisht Temple in Manali. And basically Vashisht Baths is a hot water spring, believed to be having great amount of therapeutic medicinal values. In other words it is also termed as Vashisht Springs. Manytourists who pay a visit here bathe in the holy water to rid themselves of skin diseases and infections. It is dedicated to the Hindu God, Hanuman. This hill is situated 2.5 km from the Ridge at the height of 2,455 m above sea level and is Shimla’s highest peak. From the hill, visitors can enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the Shivalik Ranges and the sister town of Sanjauli. The 108 feet tall idol of Lord Hanuman which is located at the top of the hill and is a big attraction for tourists.&nbsp; &nbsp;The premises hold several paintings that represent the story of Hanuman during Ramayana. Installed in 2010, the 108 feet long idol of Hanuman is an attraction in itself and has enticed a huge number of tourists throughout the years. Illuminated with lights in the night, it is a grand sight to watch on your Shimla tour and is visible from anywhere in Shimla. Legend and myth suggests that the monkey Lord Hanuman rested here while on his search for the Sanjivini Booti (a kind of herb). He met sage Yaaku on the hilltop and then moved ahead in his journey. This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member.
