Day wise travel itinerary
- Day 1 :Chandigarh to NarkandaPickup from Chandigarh and drive to Narkanda. Arrived at Hotel by late evening. Overnight stay at Narkanda.

- Day 2 :Narkanda - Sangla/ChitkulEarly morning after breakfast, we will start our drive to Chitkul – The last village. If time permits we will visit Bhima Kali Temple in Sarahan onway. We arrived at chitkul and have some quality time at the village. Later we will drive to Hotel for a night stay. Overnight stay at Chitkul / Sangla.

- Day 3 :Sangla – Chitkul – KalpaPost breakfast, basking in the first rays of the sun, we will drive towards Chitkul, the Last village. Chitkul can be described as one of the most scenic settlements in the valley and the last inhabited village before the India-China border. After spending time in Chitkul, we turn around and head to Kalpa. We drive to Kalpa, visit Sue-Side point at Kalpa Roghi road. Arrived at Hotel by evening. Rest in Hotel in eveing, enjoy the views of Kinner Kailash from Kinnaur. Overnight stay at Kalpa.

- Day 4 :Kalpa – Gue – TaboOn the next day of this Spiti Valley tour, from Kalpa, we continue driving on the famous the NH 22. As you begin embracing the jaw-dropping views watch the mountains change their colours from the lush greens of the Kinnaur valley to the many hues of brown.After a quick refueling stop at Puh, we proceed to the first village of Spiti Valley on this road, to Gue to see the 5000 old mummy of a Lama, then proceed to Tabo, which would be our first stop in the glorious, mystical Spiti Valley. The second largest village of the Spiti Valley, Tabo, is known worldwide for its 1000-year-old Tabo Monastery. Walk around this UNESCO world heritage site and gain a deeper insight into Buddhism. Unlike other monasteries in the Spiti Valley, the Tabo monastery is located at the bottom of the valley. Overnight stay at Tabo.

- Day 5 :Tabo – Dhankar – Pin Valley(Kungri Gompa) – KazaOn the next day of this Spiti Valley tour, we drive to the charming and high villages of Dhankar. Dhankar, the former capital of the Spiti Valley, offers panoramic views of Spiti Valley. Dhankar stands perched above the confluence of the Spiti and Pin river. Perhaps there must have been a fort here once, but today Dhankar is renowned for its 1200-year old monastery balanced precariously on a rocky precipice. Afterwards, we drive towards the beautiful Pin Valley. We first visit the Kungri Monastery and then the beautiful hamlet of Mudh – the last motorable village of the Pin Valley. Declared a national park in 1987, Pin Valley has altitudes ranging from 11,000 to 20,000 feet. By late evening reach to Kaza. At the end of the day we drive to Kaza. Overnight stay at Kaza.

- Day 6 :Kaza – kee –Langza – Hikkim – Komic – KazaToday we will drive to some of the highest inhabited regions of the world. Very first we visit the world famous Ki Monastery. With over 1000 years’ worth stories to tell, the Ki Monastery situated at a height of 13,668 feet was founded by a disciple of the famous Atisha, in the 11th century CE. Belonging to the Yellow Hat or Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, this monastery is famous as a prominent center of learning as well as a refuge for Tibetans. Then, We drive to Langza. Langza village is situated at an altitude of 4400 meters and belongs to the Sakyapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Langza houses a population of 137 in 33 households. Once you are here, you can walk around the village and visit the ancient Lang (Temple) which is estimated to be around 1000 years old. At Langza, walk back to the prehistoric era when Spiti was submerged by the Tethys Sea, as you explore a land very rich with fossils of Marine animals and plants which were here millions of years ago. Later, we drive to Hikkim where we visit the world’s highest post office in the world. If possible, you might even meet the post-master and hear his stories. After sending out a postcard, The highest village in Asia, Komik, which literally translates to ‘eye of a snow cock’, is situated at a height of 4513 meters. This farming village has a population of 84 people, living in utter isolation, cut-off from the rest of the world for most parts of the year. By evening drive to Kaza. Overnight stay in Kaza.

- Day 7 :Kaza –Kibber – Chicham Bridge – Losar – Kunzum La – ChandrataalAfter early breakfast, we drive to one of the most photogenic places in Spiti Valley – the Chandratal Lake. But before that we will drive to the picturesque village of Kibber. Located at a height of 4205 meters and 18 km from Kaza, this formerly highest permanently inhabited village in this region, is also a popular base camp to embark on adventure and treks to adjoining mountains of high altitude. Thenafter, drive to Chicham bridge, which is considered as Asia’s Highest Bridge, which is inaugurated in September 2018. Later on, we pass through the high altitude pass of Kunzum La. Stop by at the stupa and pay tribute to the local goddess, “Kuzum Mata” as she's known. At 15,000 feet above sea-level, the Kuzum Pass connects Kullu and Lahaul to the Spiti Valley. From there, we head to Chandratal Lake – A visual marvel, this stunning blue-coloured lake is set at an altitude of 4,300 meters above sea level in the heart of high Himalayas and is a must see on a full moon night. It derives its name, “Chandra” (Moon) and “Taal” (Lake) from the crescent shape of the lake. Watch the lake change colours from crystal clear shades of blue to emerald greens by dusk. Overnight at a camp 2 km away from Chandratal Lake.

- Day 8 :Chandrataal – Rohtang/Atal Tunnel – Manali.On the next day of this Spiti Valley tour, drive from Chandratal Lake towards Manali. We take a quick stop at Batal for a cup of tea at a small tea shop run by a beautiful old couple. From there, we continue driving on the Kaza – Manali highway and stop at Chatru for lunch. Drive through the famous Rohtang Pass and return to Manali to end your breath-taking Spiti Valley sojourn. Here, we bid goodbye to your driver who’d have been your friend and guide for the last nine days. Since there is no sightseeing included in your schedule in Manali, you are free to explore Manali on your own. Overnight at Manali.

Drive back to Chandigarh. Drop at Chandigarh by evening. Our journey will end here with lots of memories.

Dhankar Lake
Dhankar Lake is a high altitude lake in Spiti Valley, in the Himachal Pradesh state of India. At an elevation of 4,140 metres, it lies above the Dhankar monastery in the Lahaul-Spiti district, and can be approached by a trek from the monastery.

Dhankar monastery
Dhankar Gompa is a village and also a Gompa, a Buddhist temple in the district of Lahaul and Spiti in India. It is situated at an elevation of 3,894 metres in the Spiti Valley above Dhankar Village, between the towns of Kaza and Tabo.

Kungri Gompa
<p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Kungri Monastery is a Buddhist monastery of the Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism in the Pin Valley in Lahul and Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, northern India.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Kungri is Spiti's second oldest monastery, built around 1330. The gompa consists of three detached rectangular blocks facing east.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 13px;">It is noted for its sword dance by the buzhens of Mud village on the right bank of the Pin River. Pin Valley National Park
<p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Located in the calm and serene location of Lahaul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh, this quaint and enchanting national park is a cold desert, replete with a variety of natural landscape features. If you are someone who enjoys the peace and calm of nature and have an appetite for natural beauty, then this heavenly site is a must-visit place for you.</span></p>

Hamlet of Mud
<p><span style="font-size: 13px;">A green patch of land among the deserted mountains of Spiti is something which is amazing to visit. Mud village is one of the remotest village of Pin Valley. Having a population of around 150-200 people. It's the starting or ending point of the famous Pin-Bhaba or Pin-Parvati trek. The road to Mud bifurcates from the road linking Tabo and Kaza. 50kms from Kaza, Spiti's largest town. A drive of 33kms from that bifurcation till Mud Village. Mud is also known as the land of Snow Leopard and Ibex. In winters the temperatures often drop below -10c. In this period the Snow Leopards comes near the village in search of food and shelter.</span></p>

Langza village
<p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Located at an altitude of 14500 feet or 4420 meters, Langza is one of the remotest villages of India in the remote corner of Himachal Pradesh. Greenfields besotted on brown hills and distinctive houses constructed in Tibetan style architecture sums up the pictorial representation of Langza. Envelop this picture with surrounding snow-capped peaks, and it completes the breathtaking view of Langza village.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Spitian villages are geographically demarcated into upper and lower parts. Langza is no exception, lower part of the village is termed Langza Yongma and the upper one is Langza Gongma.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Langza Gongma houses the Lang, local village temple. A massive statue of Lord Buddha guarding the hamlet is the tallest structure here, which is also the most popular picture of Langza on the internet. Another striking feature of the village – the Chau Chau Kang Nilda peak – adorns its landscape majestically.Of course, the best time to visit Langza does resonate with the best time to visit Spiti Valley itself. Unless you can reach Kaza in Spiti Valley, there is no point thinking about visiting Langza village as well.</span></p>

Hikkim Post Office
<p><span style="font-size: 13px;">The Hikkim post office which is located in the Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh has been functioning from November 5, 1983 and is run by the postmaster Rinchen Chhering. Reaching this post office is a back breaking journey and considering the remoteness of this village, one can only imagine how difficult it is to send out the post from here.</span></p>
