  • Day 1 :Madurai
    Arrival at Madurai Airport/Railway station. You’ll meet our representative/Driver & transferred to hotel.Madurai:  Madurai, with its rich history, has been nicknamed Athens of the East. Madurai is an ancient city in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The city’s skyline is dominated by the 14 impressive and colorful gateway towers of the Meenakshi Amman Temple, which is a major pilgrimage site, attracting visitors from all over India and beyond.On arrival check into the hotel & after that visit below place:Meenakshi Amman Temple - Renowned for its astonishing architecture, Meenakshi Temple was nominated as one of the wonders of the world, but couldn’t make it into the list of ‘Seven Wonders of the World’. However, the temple is certainly one among the ‘Wonders of India’. This historic Hindu temple in the center of Madurai is one of the oldest and largest temples in India.Return back to hotel.   • Day 2 :Madurai
    Today Morning After breakfast, set out to visit the sightseeing places of Madurai:Thirumalai Nayak Temple Palace: This beautiful palace was built in 1636 by King Thirumalai Nayak, who ruled Madurai from 1623–1659. It is believed to be designed by an Italian architect but no details about him are available. The palace is a fusion of Islamic and Dravidian architecture.Temple Cars:  There are two big and impressively decorated wooden temple cars at the center of the East Masi Street. The cars are mainly utilized in processions to carry images of gods and goddesses.Gandhi Memorial Museum: Gandhi Memorial Museum not only boasts of a rich collection but also presents an alluring architecture. It was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru. It’s now one of the five Gandhi Sanghralayas (Gandhi Museums) in the country.  It includes a part of the blood-stained garment worn by Gandhi when he was assassinated by Nathuram Godse. Gandhi Memorial Museum in Madurai comes under the Peace Museums Worldwide selected by the United Nations Organization (UNO)Mariamman Teppakulam: This is a famous temple tank located about 4 km east of the Meenakshi Amman Temple. Literally, Teppakulam means ‘temple pond’. It is mainly used for devotional festivals and famous for the colorful Float Festival held here around January/February.Return back to hotel.   • Day 3 :Madurai – Rameshwaram (173 Kms, 3 Hrs 15 Minutes)
    Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to Rameshwaram.Rameshwaram: It’s located in Pamban Island in Tamil Nadu. According to myths, the Indian King God, Ram built a floating bridge on the sea towards Sri Lanka from Rameshwaram to retrieve his wife Sita. It is a historical place that has connection with a lot of mythology and thus, it goes without saying that it is a pilgrimage place too. Rameshwaram, the place that is home to the temple of Ramanathaswamy Temple which is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. On arrival at Rameshwaram check into the hotel. Freshen up & visit Sri Ramanathaswamy TempleSri Ramanathaswamy Temple: This temple is dedicated to god Shiva and located on Rameswaram Island It is the location of the Char Dham pilgrimage.Just traveling to the temple is in itself a fulfilling experience because you have to cross a bridge from the mainland to reach this temple. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Rama built this bridge to rescue Sita from Ravana. Unlike other shorelines, the shorelines of this island are very quiet. Legend has it that the sea god promised Lord Rama he would stop the waves to help Lord Rama build the bridge. This is the best place for those who love stone carving.Agnitheertham: This is a collection of twenty two sandy shores where pilgrims can take bath. It is said that Lord Ram took bath in one of the shores to wash away the sins of killing Ravan in the battle.Gandamadana Parvatam: The Gandamadana Parvatam is a hill and is the highest spot in the island of Rameshwaram.   • Day 4 :Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari (310 Kms, 6 Hrs 30 Minutes)
    Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to Kanyakumari.Kanyakumari:  The southernmost tip of India, the confluence of 3 seas that you’ll only see here, a city with both religious and spiritual importance. The city Kanyakumari gets its name after Goddess Kanya Kumari, the adolescent form of Goddess Parvati.On arrival check in to Hotel/Resort. Dinner & Overnight stay at Kanyakumari. (B & D)

    This day after Breakfast, visit below places:• Vivekananda Rock Memorial – An iconic monument, the Vivekananda Rock Memorial consists of two   main structures. An exciting ferry ride takes the visitors to the tiny rock island.• Thiruvalluvar Statue – The gorgeous statue is devoted to the successful poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar. Perched upon a 38-foot pedestal, the statue is a crucial landmark within the coastal town.• Triveni sangam:  The only place in the world where the confluence of the three seas – the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal with the Indian Ocean happens is at Kanyakumari, called the Triveni Sangam (Tri means three, Veni means a stream of water and Sangam means confluence).• KanyaKumari Temple /Sri Bhagvathy Amman temple: The 3000-year-old Bhagvathy Amman temple dedicated to the Goddess Kanya Kumari is incredibly popular and thronged by the disciples of the Devi, making it one of the most popular tourist places in Kanyakumari.This temple is also significant as is one of the Shakti Peeths in Indian subcontinents. Meenakshi Amman Temple

One of the foremost famous pilgrimages, Meenakshi Madurai Temple, may be a place worth seeing by every art lover. This architectural masterpiece may be a finest example of Dravidian sort of architecture. Thirumalai Nayak Palace

This majestic palace stands as a fine blend of Islamic and Dravidian sorts of palace architecture. Originally designed as the king's residence by an Italian architect, the palace complex was four times larger than what remains of it today. Known for beautiful stucco work, especially on its arches and domes, this palace is a visual treat for visitors. It is beautifully adorned both on the within and out of doors . Another notable feature is that the celestial pavilion that was constructed using brick and mortar without the support of a girder or rafter. There are about 248 pillars in the palace giving an idea as to the magnificence of its size. The main area of the palace has been divided into two sections: Rangavilasa and Swargavilasa. These sections house a spread of sections, including the royal residence, shrine, apartments, theatre, pond, garden, armoury and royal bandstand.
A museum housed within the premises given as insight into the region's history and art and architecture. Tourists can also attend a sound and light show held in the palace. Named as a memorial 
right after Indian gained independence, the palace was inbuilt 1636 AD by the ruler of Madurai, Tirumalai Nayak, and is taken into account because the most illustrious monument built under their patronage. It lies in close vicinity to the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple.

Gandhi Ashram Museum

The building that houses the Gandhi Memorial Museum, Madurai is that the historic Tamukkam Palace belonging to Rani Mangammal of Nayak Dynasty built about 1670 A.D. It was in 1955 the palace with about 13 acres of land was gifted by the Tamil Nadu government to the All India Gandhi Smarak Nidhi for the purpose of housing Gandhi Memorial Museum. The Museum was inaugurated by Nehru on 15 April 1959.
Among the exhibits at the Museum is a component 
of the blood-stained garment worn by Gandhiji when he was assassinated by Nathuram Godse. Other exhibits within the Museum include a original letter written personally by Gandhi to Shri Narayanan Sathsangi of Devakottai. A congratulatory message sent by Gandhi to insurgent and poet Subramania Bharati is additionally preserved during this Museum. Yet another interesting letter is the one, written by the Mahatma to Adolf Hitler addressing him as ‘Dear Friend’.
The Museum contains a ‘Visual Biography of Bapuji’ containing photos, paintings, sculptures, manuscripts, quotations and a few of the chosen photostat copies of the many of the letters written by him.

Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam

Mariamman Teppakulam may be a beautiful square tank cover an enormous area of just about 16 acres, located about 4 Kms East of Meenakshi Temple in Madurai City. The tank is that the scene of the colorful float festival held in January/February to celebrate the birth anniversary of King Thirumalai Nayak, who built this tank. The deities of Meenakshi and Sundareswarar are placed during a float, called “Teppam”, decorated with flowers and illuminated with hundred of lights. This float is taken around the tank to the sound of traditional music. On the Northern side of the tank a temple is devoted to Mariamman , a famous village deity of Tamil Nadu .
