- Day 1 :Mangalore – Bekal - (65 Kms, 1 hr 40 Minutes)Arrive at Mangalore Airport, from where you’ll be assisted & transfer to Bekal.Bekal: Bekal is a beautiful fortified town in Kasargod, Kerala. Famous for the fort and sand beaches this is still among the lesser-known jewels within the crown of kerala. This is a place where you have hills, the sea, the rocky beaches, and the sandy ones, and a glimpse of history.On arrival check into the hotel/Resort. Thereafter, you will be exploring the city and visiting places like Bekal Fort: Built-in the seventeenth century, spread over 40 acres, this is the largest fort in Kerala. It was built by the Nayakas of Keladi, one of the prominent Kannada dynasties that rose after the decline of the Great Vijayanagara Empire in the 16th century. It offers a breath-taking view of the Arabian Sea. Bekal Fort Beach: It’s an attractive and charming beach that lies in the Kasaragod district of Kerala. The beach is popular for its backwaters, forts and scenic beauty. The beach stretches over an area of 36 acres and attracts people for its beauty and serenity. One may stroll on the beach or enjoy camel rides, horse rides, and local snacks as well. The beach offers an amazing view of the grand Bekal Fort which stands on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Kappil Beach: It’s famous for its soft golden sand and clear blue waters of the Arabian Sea. The enchanting beach is a perfect location to witness the best of sunsets and the alluring hues of the evening sky. Return to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Bekal.

- Day 2 :Bekal - Kasaragod - Bekal - (10 kms)This day after Breakfast, you will visit below places:Kanwatheertha Beach: A n outsized swimming pool like formation of the sea on the vast beach is the main attraction. Chandragiri fort : This majestic fort was built by the local clans of Kolathunadu kings in the 17the century AD. This is a Hilltop fort having a scenic back drop of Payaswini River. This is also an adventure spot in Kasargod having touristic values all around the fort. This fort is a best place for fort lovers and history lovers. It offers a breathtaking view of the river and the Arabian sea. It is a viewpoint to watch the sunset. Valiyaparamba is the third-largest backwaters in Kerala which provides a picturesque view of the local flora and fauna. The boat ride through the backwaters takes you to Valiyaparamba island, the largest island in Kavvayi backwaters. Return back to Bekal. Dinner and Overnight stay at Bekal.

Bekal Fort
<p>About 16 km south of Kasaragod, the northernmost district of Kerala, recline the huge Bekal Fort. It is one of the largest forts in Kerala and has been maintained throughout the years. It rises 130 feet above sea level and is located on a headland spanning 35 km. Located at the distance of 65 km from Mangalore, Bekal Fort is a keyhole-shaped lofty structure that stands still against the rocky shores of sea amusing its visitors with its finesse. There has been a lot of effort to develop a beautiful beach called Bekal Fort Beach. People come to these places in large numbers. Situated comfortably on the steep hillside along the sea, this fort offers a spectacular view from the beach. Built with laterite slabs and a polygon shape, it is one of the most visited sites in Kerala.</p><p><br></p><p>Many factors are involved in the popularity of the site. An observation tower equipped with beautiful tableaux, the Anjaneya temple with its famous masonry and two Theyyam statues built with laterite are among the primary attractions. An ancient mosque built by Tipu Sultan and various underground routes are also important places in the area. Bekal Beach
<p>Located on a wide expanse of Malabar beach, Bekal Beach is popular for its backwaters, forts and natural beauty. It is a very small area on the banks of the Arabian Sea, known for its unique charm that holds various attractions and provides an ideal traditional Kerala hospitality for its visitors. A beautiful view of the sun, sand, sea and flowing palm trees adjacent to the beach adds more charm to the excellent landscape. Bekal is a complete tourist destination, popular for its natural beauty and attracts the attention of visitors from various places. Kappil Beach
<p>The ancient Kappil beach and backwaters are located 7 km from Varkala, the famous beach destination. An ideal blend of backwaters and the sea, it offers a pleasant life from the world. Located close to the capital Thiruvananthapuram, people come here to enjoy the various water sports activities & natural backwaters. This is an area with enough peace where there is a chance to just relax or take a relaxing boat ride. The nearby Kodi Hills offers a breath-taking view, which ensures that they capture the hearts of all those who make the trek up to the rock. A drive along the riverine road is also a delightful way to experience the delightful view. October to March is the best time to visit Kappil Beach.</p>

Chandragiri Fort

are the ruins of the Chandragiri Fort in the south-east of Kasaragod town. In
ancient times, the Chandragiri River, which flowed near the fort, demarcated
the two kingdoms of Kolathunadu and Tulunadu. Later, the area around the river
came under the Vijayanagara Empire. When the empire fell, Keladi Nayakas, who
had ousted the administration, took control of the area.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;"><o:p> </o:p></span><span style="font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">When Shivappa Nayak took
over the reins, he renovated and built several forts. One of them was
Chandragiri Fort, which he built in the 17th century. The fort is now managed by

that overlook the sea still bear cannonball attacks. The continuously flowing
river and estuary where the river meets the sea is visible from the fort. It is
a pleasure to see the sunrise and sunset from the ruins of the fort. </span><span style="font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">The ancient Kizhur Sastha
temple and a mosque are also located near the fort. Speedboat and houseboat
rides can be arranged on the backwaters to visit nearby islands.</span></p>

Kanwathirtha Beach
<p>Located in Majeswaram, Kanwatheertha Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Kerala region. Aqua-tourism is one of the most important aspects of Kerala and this beach is the unique place to attest to this interesting feature. This beach is considered as a virgin region where visitors can experience local attractions and traditional Kerala hospitality. It is a wonderful picnic spot where tourists can bath in cascading waves or a weekend getaway and get pampered by nature. Valiyaparamba Backwaters
<p>Valiyaparamba Backwaters brings you to experience serene environment of this area. Valiyaparamba lies about 1 hour drive from Bekal.</p><p>This is one of the scenic backwaters in Kerala. You will be mesmerized by is picturesque views and would not want to miss the experience to lay back and relax in Kettuvallam (houseboat). The boat ride takes you to Valiyaparamba island , the largest island in Kavvayi backwaters.</p><p>One can relax and enjoy the rustic charm of the unspoiled backwater and relish nice meal in the houseboat.</p><p>Valiyaparamba backwaters can be visited all year around November to May is the best time. </p>
