Day wise travel itinerary
- Day 1 :Arrive At Leh(By Flight)Arrive at KushokBakula airport Leh situated at 3500m altitude, met by our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Leh city 3 to 4 km. On arrival at the hotel welcome drink and then proceed to your rooms and take full-day at rest to acclimatize yourself completely to the high altitudes of Ladakh which is must. Dinner &Overnight at the Hotel.

- Day 2 :Leh - Alchi -Leh
This morning after breakfast, visit Alchi, (3500 m / 11500 ft) a small village in the Indus Valley, 67 km west of Leh. Abandoned centuries ago the gompa or monastery is known as Chos-kor or religious enclave and comprises of five temples. En route, view the majestic Sangam - Confluence (where two rivers meet each other). Zanskar is the river formed from the junction of two streams, Lungnak means "dark gorge" and Stod, which carries the melt water of the great Drang-drung glacier. Also, view the marvelous Magnetic Hill, a gravity hill located near Leh. The hill is alleged to have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill and force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order to escape magnetic interference. Then, visit Military Hall of Fame, a glorious museum constructed by Indian army. You can see biographies of eminent defense personalities, images and weapons used during Kargil war, Siachen and its heroes and their daily instruments and lifestyle of Ladakhi people. You will also visit GurudwaraPathar Sahib, a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, about 25 miles away from Leh and Spituk Monastery, famous for its wide and varied collections of ancient masks, icons, antique arms and numerous Thangkas. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner &Overnight at Leh.

- Day 3 :Leh - Nubra Valley : (4-5 Hrs Drive)Morning drive to Nubra Valley 125km crossing Khardongla Pass 18360 ft, the world highest motor able pass. Afternoon visit Diskit&Hunder Monasteries along with the 100ft tall Maîtrea Buddha statue. Members will also visit the silvery sand dunes with perhaps a Double humped Camel Safari. Dinner &Overnight at the Deluxe tent.

- Day 4 :Excursion To Turtuk
This morning, after breakfast visit Turtuk. On the way visit Diskit Monastery. Turtuk is the last village on the Indian side of the border and was taken over by the Indian Army during the Kargil War. You will be mesmerized by the beauty in the Simplicity of Turtuk and its people. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Dinner &Overnight in Nubra Valley.

Morning after breakfast drive to Pangong . Visit beautiful Pangong Lake forms a part of the border area between India and China. This large lake is an altitudeof14,000 feet above the sea level has variation of colors. Dinner &Overnight stay at deluxe tent.

- Day 6 :Pangong-Leh - (5-6 Hrs Drive)After breakfast drive back to Leh. Evening free in Leh bazaars for last minute shopping, in Leh items like pure Pashmina shawls, good pearls, Chinese cutleries and beautiful Ladakhi wooden handicrafts can be purchased. Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel.

- Day 7 :Leh Local Sightseeing
This morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace. This large hilltop stupa has brightly colored reliefs on its mid-levels and is topped by a spired white hemisphere (smoking is prohibited here). Lastly, visit Leh Palace, dilapidated yet interesting, which was built in the 17th century in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture. Lastly visit Leh Market. Dinner &Overnight at leh .

Thiksey Monastery

Thiksey Monastery is a tibetan-style monastery nestled 20 kms south of Leh on Leh-Manali highway, constructed in 1430 AD belongs to the Gelukpa Order of Buddhism. The 12 Storey monastery is situated on top of a hill, giving stunning views of the town as well as the Indus valley below. The main attraction of Thiksey is the Maitreya Temple which houses a 15-metre high Maitreya Buddha statue. It is the largest such statue in Ladakh and it covers 2 stories of the building. Thiksey Gompa hosts the Gustor ritual, organized from the 17th - 19th of September month.

Alchi Choskor Monastery

The famous Magnetic / Gravity Hill of Ladakh is a cyclops hill where vehicles go against the force of gravity and move upwards on the hill when parked at the marked location. To experience this curious, park the car in neutral gear in the yellow marked box a few meters ahead of the Magnetic Hill road. From this point, the car starts moving at a speed of around 20 km/h.

Hall of Fame

Hemis Monastery

Hemis is nestled around 45 kms to the south of Leh on the western banks of the Indus River. The Hemis Monastery was built in 1630 and which is the biggest and very richly bestowed monastery of Ladakh. Magnificent and facinating, Hemis is different from the other important monasteries of Ladakh. The monastery is very well decorated on all 4 sides by colorful prayer flags which flutter in the breeze and send prayers to Lord Buddha.

Shanti Stupa

The Shanti Stupa in Leh is a marvelous white-domed Buddhist monument nestled atop a steep hilltop at a dizzying height of 11,841 feet above sea level. It is a religious place for the Buddhists as it holds the relics of Buddha, dedicated by the 14th Dalai Lama. It is also very famous amongst tourists as it offers a stunning view of Leh and the nearby Changspa village. Shanti Stupa looks extraordinarily beautiful during the full moon night when it is naturally illuminated by the moonlight. It is at a distance of about 5 km drive by road from the Leh city or one can climb 500 steps to reach The Shanti Stupa. The location of Shanti Stupa is such that it is visible from all over Leh city.
