  • Day 1 :Pushkar

    Arrive at  KishangarhAirport / Pushkar Railway station and transfer to the hotel. On arrival check into Hotel. Take some rest and Evening Enjoy the Local Market The world famous, authentic and locally made souvenirs, such as leather goods and handicraft, along with traditional Rajasthani items are sold in the market. Sadar Bazaar, Sarafa Bazaar, Baza Bazaar and Kedalganj Bazaar are some of the main shopping areas of Pushkar. Overnight at Pushkar.

  • Day 2 :Pushkar

    Morning After breakfast start for Pushkar City Tour. Visit various temples and Ghats and holy Pushkar Lake. There are more than 400 hundred temples in Pushkar but the main attraction being the temple of Lord Brahma, the only temple in India dedicated to Brahma.

Brahma Temple, Pushkar

Brahma temple in Pushkar may be a rare religious site that's dedicated to the lord of creation, Lord Brahma. The reason behind it being rare is that the temple is amongst the only a few existing temples of Lord Brahma in India. Known as the Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, this Hindu temple has its address in the Pushkar town of Rajasthan. Days of construction of this temple dates back to the 14th century. However, Indian Mythology believes the origin of this temple happened 2000 years back within the history. Located on the brink of the sacred Pushkar Lake, the temple may be a highly prominent tourist attraction; with large flock of tourists visiting it especially on the auspicious occasion of Kartik Poornima.

Pushkar Lake

Pushkar Lake is considered as the holiest lake in India. This water reservoir is enclosed by 52 ghats (personal ghats for 52 Maharajas of India) and 500 temples. According to a Hindu mythology, this lake was created by the fallen petals of Lord Brahma's lotus when he was destroying the demon Vajra Nabha. Lotus petals were struck at a specific place and water spurted from there giving it the form of a pious. The charm of Pushkar Lake is additionally mentioned in some old books like Abhigyan Sakuntalam, Mahabharat and Ramayana. A dip during this water can purify one from all the sins, troubles and ailments. Sacred to the Hindus also because the Sikhs, this lake has its mention in history since the 14th century.

Savitri Mata Temple

The Savitri temple in Pushkar is found on the Ratnagiri hill which may be a popular pilgrimage site for the Hindus. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Savitri. It is a really strenuous work to hop on the hilltop but it's believed that the harder you're employed the more ‘Tapas’ are gained. In this temple you'll find the idols of both the wives of Lord Brahma named Savitri and Gayatri. But as per tradition Goddess Savitri is always worshipped first and then prayers to Goddess Gayatri are offered. The visitors can either trek to the temple gates or take a ride within the cable cars which take passengers to the temple. The ropeway ride is basically filled with fun from where you'll have an awesome view of the Pushkar city. However, many devotees prefer to climb 200 stairs leading to the shrine which they consider an important part of their pilgrimage to the place.

Varaha Temple

At a distance of 500 m from Pushkar Bus Station and 600 m from Pushkar Lake, Varaha Temple is one of the largest and ancient temples located in Pushkar town of Rajasthan. It is a Vaishnava temple and also one among the famous temples in Pushkar. The Varaha Temple was built by King Anaji Chauhan within the 12th century AD and is devoted to Varaha, the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple was destroyed by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and was then rebuilt within the 18th century by Raja Sawai Jai Singh II of Jaipur. According to a legend, Lord Vishnu turned himself into a boar and came to earth, to kill the monstrous demon Hirnayaksh, who was getting to destroy the entire universe. Varaha slew the demon and retrieved the world from the ocean, lifting it on his tusks and restored Bhudevi to her place within the universe. It is one among the foremost visited temples in Pushkar. This is a fortified temple in Pushkar and is taken into account to be the foremost ancient temple within the city. The temple has 2 feet white idol of Lord Varaha within the sanctum sanctorum. Various sculptures, elegant carvings, life-size statues of door men and gold-styled pillars depicting Garuda, the mythical bird are situated within the temple.
