Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Jaipur

    Arrive at Jaipur Airport /Railway Station, meet the assistance and drive to Hotel.

    Jaipur, known as "Pink City" and "Paris of India", is the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. Jaipur is famous for unique architecture, Vastu, astrology, forts, palaces, temples, arts and crafts, monuments, culture and at last for unique food.

    On arrival check into the hotel. 

    In the evening you can take an optional trip to visit Lakshminarayan Mandir (Birla Mandir) and Chokhi Dhani - an ethnic village resort. Back to the hotel. Stayed in Jaipur overnight.

  • Day 2 :Jaipur

    Take a full-day sightseeing tour of the city of Jaipur after the morning breakfast which includes a visit to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Hawa Mahal, the old capital Amber Fort. Here in Amber, you will climb the elephant back to the gate of the majestic fort. The fort has a beautiful blend of Mughal and Rajput style architecture. Stay in your hotel overnight.

    After morning breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Jaipur railway station/airport for your onward journey.

Amer Fort

This wonderful fort comprises of an widespread palace complex, which is  built from pale yellow, pink sandstone and white marble and that is divided into four main sections. Each with its own courtyard it reveals the history of this fort which was once the home to the proud Maharajas of the region. It is incredibly well- maintained site with the tourists from all over the India come to visit Amber or Amer Fort in Jaipur to bask and to reveal in its grandeur.

Jaipur City Palace

Located in the centre of Old Jaipur, The City Palace is a splendid example of amalgamation of Rajput and Mughal architecture. This grand palace, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, contains the living quarters of the erstwhile royal family, some of which still live in a private wing. It includes the Diwan-e-Am (Hall for the public audience with the King), the Diwan-e-Khas (Hall for the King's private meetings with his noblemen), Mubarak Mahal and the Maharani’s  Palace (Queen's Palace). Mubarak Mahal houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, which displays personal items of the royal family such as exquisite embroidered costumes. The Queen's Palace is one of the largest collections of weapons in the country. And the Diwan-e-Khas has two huge silverware, each 1.6 meters long, which is said to be the world's largest silver object. They were used to bring holy water from the river Ganges to the royal family. The palace also has many rare artifacts.

 Jantar Mantar in Jaipur may be a fascinating astronomical observatory, located at the guts of the town . This is one among the most important observatories within the World, comprising of interesting stone structures that help to interpret the position of celestial bodies and calculate civil time . Enumerated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Jantar Mantar in Jaipur attracts architects, mathematicians, geographers and historians. Jantar Mantar, Jaipur was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, and he built 5 such observatories in different parts of the country: Jaipur, Mathura, Delhi, Ujjain, and Varanasi. The one in Jaipur is the largest of all, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II is the founder of Jaipur city and a potential ruler of Amber region. Along with his political expertise, he was also a scholar in physics, mathematics, and astronomy. During his reign, he was commissioned by Emperor Muhammad Shah to rectify astronomical calculations in Islamic zij tables. To accomplish this task, he gathered astronomical data from European and Persian nations and studied and interpreted an equivalent . After extensive research and studying the gathered data, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II constructed stone made instruments to determine the position of planetary bodies and measure time. Jaipur Jantar Mantar was built between 1728-1734 and its stone instruments are considered to be more accurate than others.

Jaigarh Fort

 Located on Capitol Hill of Eagles, Jaigarh fort was inbuilt 1726 AD by Sawan Jai Singh II. Jaigarh Fort is found at a height of 500 feet above water level and offers panoramic views of the encompassing . It houses the world's largest cannon on the wheels called 'Jaivana Cannon'. There are various other attractions within the fort like Laxmi Vilas, Lalit Mandir, Aram Mandir and therefore the Vilas Mandir. Jaigarh Fort is made-up of sandstones and is cover a neighborhood of three km. Made with the aim of protecting Amer Fort, Jaigarh fort is taken into account because the strongest monument of Jaipur. Also known by the name of 'Victory Fort', this place was considered as a storehouse of all the war amours, cannons, arms and ammunitions. There is a Persian style garden within the complex of the fort which is split into 4 parts. The best part about the fort is its windows which are made from lattices. Birla Mandir

 Known originally as Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Birla Mandir is found at the bottom of Moti Dungri Temple, Jaipur. The temple may be a popular pilgrimage site among the Hindu devotees. Made of sparkling white marble, the structure looks incredibly marvelous. Birla Mandir features a total of three domes, all representing a special perspective of faith . The temple features stunning carvings and drawings all around its body. The walls of the structure are adorned with mythological quotes and holy charms from the Hindu holy book of Geeta. The most important part of Birla Mandir is the beautiful monolithic figurine of Lakshmi Narayan. The temple also houses an idol of Shri Ganesha, which is equally stunning and appreciable. You will also find pictures and sculptures of varied other Gods and Goddesses, which strike a spiritual charm within the air inside the temple.

Sisodia Rani Garden

Located at a distance of 10 km from the town , Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh is one among the simplest gardens in Jaipur. Placed on the Jaipur-Agra highway, this palace garden was inbuilt the year 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh for his second wife Queen of Sisodia clan. The garden is considered as the symbol of love between the two. The walls are adorned by beautiful paintings depicting the romance of Radha-Krishna. The Queen used this place for spending her leisure . A well-maintained garden, Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh is decorated with galleries, foliage, murals, flowerbeds, pavilions, glistening water channels, and attractive water fountains. This multi-tiered garden is one among the foremost popular attractions in Jaipur. The lush garden offers an exquisite contrast to the otherwise tanned backdrop of the town .
