  • The Safari for the National Park is at optional cost & it needs to be booked by the clients themselves thru the concern government website of the particular national park.
  • It is advisable to book the safari immediately after the hotel booking is done because the safari slots are subject to availability & during peak season it gets booked well in advance.
  • Only the Nagarhole National Park ( Kabini Safari ) & Bandipur Safari has to be booked directly at the hotel at the time of check-in.

Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Delhi – Corbett - (232 Kms, 6 hrs)
    Arrive at Delhi Airport /Railway station, meet and greet by our assistance and drive to Corbett.Corbett: Located at the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett is the oldest National Park in India. Jim Corbett National Park - is a part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, a Project Tiger Reserve lies in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The magical landscape of Corbett is well known and fabled for its tiger richness. Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, Corbett has the glory of being India's oldest and most prestigious National Park. Its whole area comprises of hills, marshy depressions, riverside belts, grasslands and large lake.Zones: Essentially, there are 6 different zones in Jim Corbett National Park with a few premium zones that change the cost depending upon the zone. You can choose a particular zone as per your wish.There are 02 types of safaris done.Jeep safari: Jeep is a four wheeler vehicle permitted to enter through all buffer zones of the park. It is the most popular way because Jeep is smaller in size when compared with canter that takes you easily some of the unexplored and hidden corners of the jungleJeep Safari are often done in tourism zones like Bijrani, Jhirna, Durgadevi, Dhela and Sitabani.Canter safari: Canter safari is only available if one is staying in the Dhikala zone (booking to be done only through tourism website) to the most inhabited region by the Royal Bengal Tigers, canter safari is the only option. Canter is also conducted in two shifts by Corbett forest officials. On arrival check into the hotel. Freshen up & proceed for a nature walk along the Kosi River. This area is bird watcher’s paradise. Evening is free for leisure activities. Dinner &Overnight stay at Corbett.

  • Day 2 :Corbett
    Those who are interested for safari can do a morning and afternoon safari.Safari Details:Visitors can book online Jeep Safari or Canter Safari for five different zones of the park namely Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhikala, Dhela and Durgadevi. All the procedures of Safari Booking at Corbett are managed by the forest officials as per the guidelines of India's forest department. Please note that we cannot influence the safari zone, safari driver and the naturalist guide as it is not in our hand. It is solely decided by the forest officials. Though all the zones have healthy population of tigers and wildlife sightings are reported more or less same.These all aspects are managed by the automated computerized system to ensure the equal distribution of safari vehicles in respective zones.Return back to the Hotel/ Resort. Dinner & Overnight stay at Corbett.

  • Day 3 :Corbett – Haridwar/Rishikesh - (110 Kms, 3 Hrs 15 Minutes)
    Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Haridwar. Haridwar: Located within the southwestern part of Uttarakhand amidst the Shivalik Hills, Haridwar is the most important Shaktipeeth for the Hindus. Lakhs of devotees come here throughout the year to take the holy dip in the Ganga River. The sacred city of Haridwar offers  a vibrant and interesting blend of culture. Being one among the seven holiest cities in India, Haridwar often bustles with devotees. It propitious location near the holy River Ganga has made gain more popularity. Haridwar, literally the “Gateway to God”, is the place which marks the beginning of River Ganga’s journey through the plains. Haridwar is also the gateway to some of the most sacred pilgrimage sites of the Hindus.On arrival check into the hotel. Evening visit Har-ki- Pauri for Ganga Aarti - Har Ki Pauri is a ghat, which was built by King Vikramaditya. Har ki Pauri ghat to witness the captivating Ganga Aarti (prayer ceremony) at around 6-7 p.m. every night depending on the time of year. Fiery lamps combined with the chanting of mantras, clanking of bells and enthusiastic crowd is very powerful and moving. Every evening, the river comes alive with the magic of the aarti (worship with fire), as lamps are lit, prayers are offered, and small candles are floated down the river.The opening and closing timings for ganga aarti in Haridwar is from morning 5:30 am to 6:30 am and evening 6 pm to 7 pm. (check timings with the hotel). Dinner & Overnight stay at Haridwar.

  • Day 4 :Haridwar – Rishikesh - (22 Kms, 50 Minutes)
    Today morning After Breakfast check out and drive to Rishikesh. Explore the Holy Rishikesh and the Holy Ganges on your own. Rishikesh is located on the bank of the Ganges in the lush green mountain forest around the Ganges. Rishikesh is also the Yoga Capital of the World. Here you can walk to a temple and shops and take small boat ride (own expense) on the Holy Ganges.On arrival check into the hotel. Freshen up and have free time in the city.

  • Day 5 :Rishikesh/Haridwar – Dehradun Departure - (47 Kms, 1 hr 30 Minutes)
    Today morning after breakfast check out and drive to Dehradun to have your connecting Flight/Train for your home town.(The itinerary changes as per your time, schedule and the hotel area which you stay in)(Entry fees & activity cost to be paid directly wherever applicable)

Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India known for housing the endangered Bengal tiger. Corbett National Park is part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve which is set amidst the foothills of the Himalayas in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. It houses a variety of flora and fauna including rare ones such as tigers and is a treat for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.Famous for its wildlife safaris, Jim Corbett National Park is one of the few tiger reserves in India which allows overnight stays. Home to more than 650 species of rare and migratory birds, it is a haven for bird watchers. The most popular attraction at Corbett National Park is Dhikala, a forest lodge located on the border of Patil Dun Valley, which is known for the stunning location and rich wildlife.The Jim Corbett National Park was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park and is named after Jim Corbett who is a famous hunter and naturalist. It was the first place where Project Tiger was launched in 1973. The park is spread over an area of more than 500 sq km and is divided into 5 zones: Bijrani, Dhikala, Jhirna, Domunda and Sonanandi to promote tourism.Permits are required for a specific zone and the safari is allowed only in that zone. Only 180 vehicles are allowed to enter the national park in a day. Jim Corbett National Park remains closed from July to October during the monsoons. However, Jhirna, Dhela and Sitabani tourism zones remain open for tourists throughout the year.
