The world-famous Ganga Aarti takes place in the Brahmakund region of Har Ki Pauri, a sacred place where it is believed that Amrit fell on the earth. The largest Hindu fairs, Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh, are also held at Har Ki Pauri.
