Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Delhi - Corbett : (250 Kms, 6 Hrs)
    Reach at airport and drive to Corbett. Stay at hotel.

    Safari is at own cost at National Park. Jim Corbett National Park and Reserve is a part of larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, a unique Tiger Reserve situated in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Due to Fabled for tiger richness it is known as Magical Landscape. It has been founded in the year 1936 as Heiley National Park, It has a glory of being India’s most oldest National Park. During the year 1973, it has been honoured as the place Project Tiger was launched. Tiger Territory is popularity known as father who gave birth of Project Tiger in India to protect most endangered species and Royal of India called Tigers.These are the marked buffer or core area of the park where visitors can enjoy  wildlife safari.There are 02 types of safaris done.Jeep safari : Jeep is a four wheeler vehicle permitted to enter through all buffer zones of the park. It is the most popular way because Jeep is smaller in size when compared with canter that takes you easily some of the unexplored and hidden corners of the jungleCanter safari : Canter safari is only available if one is staying in the Dhikala zone (booking to be done only through tourism website ) to the most inhabited region by the Royal Bengal Tigers, canter safari is the only option. Canter is also conducted in two shifts by Corbett forest officials. On arrival check into the hotel. Freshen up & proceed for a nature walk along the Kosi River. This area is bird watcher’s paradise. Evening is free for leisure activities. Dinner &Overnight stay at Corbett.

The Red Fort Complex was built because the palace fort of Shahjahanabad – the new capital of the fifth Mughal Emperor of India, Shah Jahan . Named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone, it's adjacent to an older fort, the Salimgarh, built by Islam Shah Suri in 1546, with which it forms the Red Fort Complex. The private apartments contains a row of pavilions connected by endless water channel, referred to as the Nahr-i-Behisht (Stream of Paradise). The Red Fort is considered to represent the zenith of Mughal creativity which, under the Shah Jahan, was brought to a new level of refinement. The planning of the palace is predicated on Islamic prototypes, but each pavilion reveals architectural elements typical of Mughal building, reflecting a fusion of Persian, Timurid and Hindu traditions The Red Fort’s innovative planning and style of architecture , including the garden design, strongly influenced later buildings and gardens in Rajasthan, Delhi, Agra and further afield.

Humayun's tomb within the capital Delhi may be a fine specimen of the good Mughal architecture. Built in 1570, the tomb is of particular cultural significance because it was the primary garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. Its unique beauty is claimed to possess inspired several major architectural innovations, culminating within the construction of the unparalleled Taj Mahal . In many ways, this magnificent red and white sandstone building is as spectacular as the famous 'monument to love' in Agra. This historic monument was erected by Humayun's queen Hamida Banu Begam (Haji Begam) at a price of about 1.5 million. It is believed that she designed the tomb. The structure is built with red sandstone, but white and black marble has been used in the borders. UNESCO has declared this magnificent masterpiece a world heritage.

Located on the banks of the River Yamuna, Raj Ghat marks the spot where he was cremated after the assassination. In addition to the present , the Raj Ghat area also contains the cremation spots aka samadhis of several other famous leaders within the country.

The governance centre of world's largest democracy, India, Parliament home is one among the foremost impressive buildings in Delhi. A fine specimen of symmetry and architecture, it's spherical in shape, and comprises three semicircular chambers that house the Rajya Sabha (Upper House) and therefore the Lok Sabha (House of the People) and a central library. About 144 columns increase the sweetness of the building, alongside beautiful gardens and fountains. The boundary wall of the building features sandstone blocks carved in intricate geometric patterns. One can visit the house by obtaining a politician permission. Parliament House was inbuilt 1921, and its stone was laid by the Duke of Connaught and it had been inaugurated in 1927 by Lord and woman Irwin. It was designed by Herbert Baker. It is said that the Constitution of India was drafted during this building.
