- Day 1 :Arrival at Cairns
Arrival at Cairns airport and transfer to Cairns considered the gateway to Australia's Great Barrier Reef a city in tropical Far North Queensland. Overnight at the hotel.
- Day 2 :Kuranda Rainforest
After breakfast depart for Kuranda Rainforest. Travel up to Kuranda Village by Scenic Rail and explore the village including the famous Kuranda markets. Return to Cairns via Sky Rail; enjoy a bird’s eye view of the pristine World Heritage Rainforest with stops at Barron Falls and Red Peak stations. Later enjoy, the Tjapukai Aboriginal Show. Learn to play the didgeridoo, discover the medicinal values of bush tucker, throw a spear and enjoy professional theatre incorporating traditional Aboriginal dance, firemaking and storytelling. Tjapukai is a genuine cultural and visual Australian journey featuring the didgeridoo plus an expansion of the Cultural Village’s program to include hunting demonstrations. Return transfer to Hotel. Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience
The Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience takes approximately 1 hour which includes both the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dance Performance held in the Rainforest Amphitheatre and the Dreamtime Walk conducted either before or after the show. Extended Dreamtime Walk activities are available at an extra cost for groups to learn even more about the fascinating history of Australia?s Indigenous culture.

Rainforestation has twelve of these historical vehicles which hold up to 30 passengers and uses a 6 wheel drive, propeller and rudder. During this 45 minute rainforest tour, your knowledgeable Duck Captain will identify and explain fascinating plants and wildlife as you pass by before splashing into the lake for a cruise with more wildlife to be seen.
After your tour, visit the tropical fruit orchard which features over 60 different species of exotic tropical fruit trees and you’ll learn about fruits of the region and the world.

The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary provides a world-class wildlife experience in the heart of Kuranda. The all-weather experience is home to over 1,500 magnificent tropical butterflies. All butterflies in the sanctuary are local rainforest species, while the undisputed stars are the fluoro green Cairns Birdwings. Wear something bright (red, white or hot pink are best) and let these beautiful creatures flutter all over you. Knowledgeable, friendly guides offer free 30-minute tours of the aviary throughout the day. Guided groups are kept small to maximize the experience on the day. Guests can learn to identify each of the butterfly species, as the guides explain a butterfly?s life cycle and its behavior. Entry also includes a guided food plant walk, which educates about the food plants grown on-site that are used to feed the caterpillars. Enjoy a 30-minute tour of the breeding laboratory, which houses up to 4,000 caterpillars. An opportunity to view first-hand the breeding laboratory through special viewing windows, where you will see the caterpillars in their varying stages of development. Watch as the laboratory staff collects eggs daily and ?hand-raise? the caterpillars right through to the chrysalis stage, until they are released as beautiful butterflies into the sanctuary.

Cape Tribulation is at the end of the sealed road, 35 kilometers north of the Daintree River Ferry. North of Cape Tribulation has the Bloomfield Track which continues to Cook town. It is suitable for four wheel drive only. The rainforest can be discovered by self-guided trails, guided walks, horse rides. The reef can be visited for a half day, or you can kayak in the coastline of sea and see where the rainforest congregates the reef. Cape Tribulation has two interpretive walks - Dubuji Boardwalk which is a 1.8 km boardwalk through the forest and mangroves and Maardja Botanical Walk which is a walkway and pathway through the high value Daintree coastal rainforest.

The World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest is so attractive that its ancient ferns, emerald green vines and lush canopy offered as inspiration for the movie Avatar. Here you can trek through jungle and discover plants and animals found nowhere else on the planet. Take to the air on the trees through a zip-line for a bird’s-eye view. Sail along the winding waterways of the Daintree River looking for saltwater crocodiles. This ecologically exclusive rainforest is home to the most extensive range of rare plants and animals on earth and all are found within an area of approximately 1200 square kilometers.
