Day wise travel itinerary
- Day 1 :ArrivalAssistance from our guide at the airport and transfer to the Hotel Barceló San José. For those, who choose the optional tour at San José, we offer after check in private San Jose City Tour, including Gold museum, national Theater and shopping tour. Return to Hotel (Dinner Not Included)
- Day 2 :Day Tour - Alajuela, Coffee Tour and La Fortuna
Breakfast the hotel. After breakfast, your private tour will take you along the Pan-American highway heading towards the town of Alajuela. During the ascent to the volcano we will passing through fern farm, strawberry plantations and flowers farms. One in the top of the volcano, we will spend enough time to observe the main crater with its sulfur fumaroles. This volcano is considered one of the widest of the world having 1.5 km diameter. Thereafter, we will walk to the beautiful Botos lagoon where you can see the diverse flora and fauna of the cloud forest. After this visit we will continue visiting Doka State Coffee plantation for a Coffee tour and a delicious Costa Rican typical lunch. Doka is honored to be the Costa Rica's most awarded coffee plantation; in there you will see the complete coffee process from the plant to your cup and taste this delicious and representative hot drink of our country. In Doka you also have the opportunity to see beauty butterfly farm. After lunch, we will depart on the way to La Fortuna town, home of the Arenal Volcano, the most active volcano in the country, whit his 1633 meters attitude and its almost perfect cone crater, in a combination whit the incredible weather and amazing flora & fauna of the zone you will fell the real contact with nature. Accommodation at the Hotel Jungla y Senderos Los Lagos.

- Day 3 :Arenal National Park
Breakfast At the hotel. In the afternoon you can enjoy regular tour to the Arenal National Park, here the tour guide will talk about the natural and geological history of the volcano, you could hear the sounds the volcano makes in the distance or cross a path of solid lava from 1992 and enjoy an excellent view over the volcano and Arenal Lake. Leaving the park, we continue to the Tabacón Hot Springs, here you can enjoy the relaxing baths and waterfalls. At the end of the day, before driving back to the hotel, a delicious buffet dinner at Tabacón.Return to the Hotel Jungla y Senderos Los Lagos. (Breakfast/Dinner included).

- Day 4 :Rio Chiquito
Breakfast at the hotel.After breakfast, we depart on the way to Monteverde at the Costa Rica's most popular Cloud Forest destination; first step will take us to the Arenal Lake to get our boat which cross the lake in about 1 hour to reach the Rio Chiquito Community, in there a bus take us to the Hotel. After the check in one of the most amazing tour combinations will be waiting for, Monteverde Hanging Bridges, Hummingbird Garden & Butterfly Farm. All of the way you'll be enjoying the incredible and unique Flora & Fauna in the Zone including the amazing Quetzal, representative bird in the zone. Lunch included at the tour. Overnight at the best hotel of this area, El Establo Hotel 4* or Cloud Forest Lodge Hotel.

Arenal National Park
Arenal Volcano National Park is a protected area in northern Costa Rica. It’s known for its hot springs, active Arenal Volcano and wildlife, including jaguars and tree frogs. Las Coladas Trail winds through forest to a cooled lava field. Rainbow bass inhabit the waters of Lake Arenal, which is popular for water sports thanks to its reliable winds. Southeast, the crater of dormant Cerro Chato Volcano features a lake.

Day Tour - Alajuela, Coffee Tour and La Fortuna

At the beginning their efforts were centered on this activity, by years later they begin to make incursions into the later phases of this process. First, the humid factory, then they go into the drying phase of the coffee, introducing new technologies; and last, they enter into the international market by exporting the golden bean, a process in which Tres Generaciones has more than 50 years of experience.
