Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Arrival To San Jose

    Arrive at San Jose Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Hotel check-in. Overnight at Hotel.


  • Day 2 :San Jose - Tortuguero National Park

    Early in the morning depart to Tortuguero National Park, Board a boat to reachourlodge - Tortuguero National Park. Later, visit the village of Tortuguero. Overnight in Lodge at Tortuguero National Park.

  • Day 3 :Tortuguero National Park

    After breakfast at the lodge, Depart to Tortuguero Park Canals. The canals cross the park, creating a labyrinth of deltas and lagoons. From rain forests of palm trees to marshes, this park offers one of the most extraordinary experiences in the natural world, evening is free at leisure to relax or explore the trails around the lodge. Overnight in Lodge.

  • Day 4 :Tortuguero - Arenal National Park

    After breakfast, Board the boat to leave the park. Depart for the Arenal Volcano National Park. The views this majestic volcano offers are some of the most impressive in the country Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 5 :Arenal

    After breakfast transfer to the banks of the Peñas Blancas River, where you will embark on a raft for forest Safari. Later hike to Arenal Volcano one of the north side trails, Las Coladas. Visit the observation point to see where the lava. After visiting the volcano, continue to La Fortuna Eco Springs. These hot springs are made up of five pools with free flow and are fed by a river overnight in hotel.

  • Day 6 :Arenal National Park - Monteverde

    After breakfast depart to Monteverde. Enjoy the unique view. Visit traditional farm where you will try the traditional Costa Rican coffee. A specialized guide will tell you the history of coffee; its importance in development of the country, and the whole process from sowing to coffee tasting. Overnight at Lodge.

  • Day 7 :Monteverde

    After breakfast depart for a hiking trip in Monteverde Reserve at Tilaran Mountains then continue to admire the forest from above, boarding the Sky Tram, that reaches between 1400 and 1600 meters above sea level. Then head to the Sky Walk, a combination of stunning footpaths and bridges from where you can see the 70-meter tall rainforest. Overnight in hotel.

  • Day 8 :Monteverde - San Jose Airport - Back Home / Beach Extension

    After breakfast at the hotel transfer to San Jose Airport to take the flight back home or transfer to your beach extension. 

    Note : flight must depart not earlier than 14:00 hours

  • Day 9 :Arrive At Costa Rica

    Welcome to Costa Rica – stands as a testament to the harmonious coexistence between nature & civilization. Arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport and transfer to the hotel. After completing the formalities check in and Overnight at hotel. 

  • Day 10 :San Jose – Coffee Plantation – Poas Volcano – La Paz Waterfall Gardens

    Today morning after breakfast, transfer from the hotel to embark on a journey towards the Central Mountain Range in Costa Rica. The first stop will be an authentic Costa Rican Coffee plantation, and learn about the entire coffee production process, from harvesting to processing and roasting. After the coffee tour, continue your journey towards Poas Volcano and embark the diverse ecosystems that exist within this beautiful national park. Later proceed for La Paz Waterfall Gardens guided tour. Take a breathtaking view of spectacular waterfall, hummingbird gallery, serpentarium, birdhouse, butterfly garden and frog exhibit. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 11 :San Jose –Tortuguero National Park

        Early morning after breakfast, depart for Tortuguero National Park through the serene wilderness of its Caribbean Coast. Tortuguero National Park is a sanctuary of biodiversity renowned for its network of canals, nesting sea turtles, exotic birds, howler monkeys & elusive jaguars. Later at evening enjoy free time to explore the surroundings. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 12 :Tortuguero National Park – Arenal Volcano

    Today morning after breakfast, depart for The Northern Lowlands – the stunning area surrounding the Arenal Volcano and the charming town of La Fortuna. This captivating region is renowned for its natural beauty, adventure activities and the therapeutic hot springs. Later transfer to hotel, check in and overnight at hotel

Poas Volcano

The Poás Volcano, is an active 2,697-metre stratovolcano in central Costa Rica and is located within Poas Volcano National Park. It has erupted 40 times since 1828, including April 2017 when visitors and residents were evacuated.

Doka Estate Costa Rica Coffee Tour & Plantation

Coffee production has played a key role in Costa Rica's history and continues to be important to the country's economy. In 2006, coffee was Costa Rica's number three export,[1] after being the number one cash crop export for several decades. In 1997, the agriculture sector employed 28 percent of the labor force and comprised 20 percent of Costa Rica's total GNP.[2] Production increased from 158,000 tons in 1988 to 168,000 tons in 1992. The largest growing areas are in the provinces of San José, Alajuela, Heredia, Puntarenas, and Cartago. The coffee is exported to other countries in the world and is also exported to cities in Costa Rica. As a small country, Costa Rica now provides under 1% of the world's coffee production.[3] In 2015, the value of its coffee exports was US$305.9 million, a small part of the total agricultural exports of US$2.7 billion or of the total of all exports which was US$12.6 billion.[4][5] Coffee production increased by 13.7% percent in 2015–2016, declined by 17.5% in 2016–2017 but was expected to increase by about 15% in the subsequent year
