The Burj Khalifa soars to 828 meters through the clouds and, as well as featuring the highest occupied floor of any building in the world, also boasts the highest outdoor observation deck. From the 124^th  and 125^th floors observation decks, you will experience 360-degree views of the city, desert and ocean. You will get the chance to experience first-hand this modern architectural and engineering. ‘At the Top’ 124th floor Observation Deck by high-speed elevator, travelling at 10 meters per second. The doors open to reveal floor-to-ceiling glass walls and spectacular unobstructed 360-degree views of Dubai and beyond. You will appreciate Dubai’s 21st century skyline, the desert and the sparkling waters of the Arabian Gulf from the 124^th Floor Observation Deck. The temple is being constructed adjacent to the Guru Nanak Darbar in Jebel Ali and will be considered an extension of the Sindhi Guru Darbar Temple in Souq Baniyas, Bur Dubai — which is one of the oldest Hindu temples in the UAE.

The construction of this new temple in Jebel Ali will make the locality a multi-religious corridor in the city.

The market is said to have got its name from the signboard of one its first stores, perched at the entrance of the lane in 1973. Often labelled as 'Bur Dubai’s Little India', Meena Bazaar transports you to the past with its colourful storefronts and views of the historic Dubai Creek. or South Asian fashion and handicrafts at the best prices, Meena Bazaar is the go-to shopping hub. Located primarily along one lane in the Bur Dubai district, this tourist and resident hotspot is nestled between Al Fahidi Street and Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road. You’ll find hundreds of merchants selling fabric on reels, ready-made traditional garments, shoes, jewellery and bags. Among the bustling alleys, you can discover some of Dubai’s oldest gold and textile businesses. Visit Meena Jewellers, one of the most popular gold shops in the area, known for its legacy and craft. You’ll also find furniture, ceramics, perfumes and spices. If you feel hungry, sample some of the authentic snacks sold here for just a few dirhams, from crispy samosas to flavourful chaats. The market is particularly atmospheric at night. Carry a big bag if you plan on shopping here and dress in lightly covering garments and comfortable shoes.

As we visited the Gold Souk on our last day in Dubai, we knew our visit was going to likely be limited to window shopping. Once we arrived, we were certain that we would be limited to window shopping. The items displayed were beautiful and in some cases decadent! There were some intricate gold mesh pieces that were made to be worn, almost like chain mail. The vendors in the Gold Souk seemed to be a bit more aggressive that those in the Spice Souk. Still, they were not as aggressive as vendors I have encountered in other countries.
