Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :India - Istanbul - Cappadocia
    After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Cappadocia via Konya. Today’s ride will be fairly long and tiring due to the long distance between Cappadocia and Antalya and lack of convenient lodging location. Drive to Konya to visit to the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the world-wide famous mystic figure. After arrival, we will drop you to the hotel in Cappadocia. Dinner at Hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia

  • Day 2 :Cappadocia
    After Breakfast start sightseeing to explore Cappadocia deeply. Visit Goreme, a kind of open air museum that contains the finest rock-out churches and beautiful frescos. After this we visit Kaymakli, the widest Underground City of the region. Then visit Pigeon Valley with many different rock formations and hundreds of pigeon houses. Dinner at Hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

  • Day 3 :Cappadocia - Istanbul
    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport for our flight to Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Upon arrival to Istanbul, proceed for lunch. Later visit Golden Horn (from the bus), the arm of the Bosphorus and a natural harbour of the historical peninsula separating the old and the new parts of İstanbul where the first colonies settled during the Byzantines. Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar), mystical smells of different aromas of various spices. Shops selling fruits, vegetables, fish, flowers etc. Bosphorus Cruise, through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residential and luxurious apartments. Rumeli Fortress (from the boat - no interior visit), historical armament built by the Conqueror to control and protect the Bosphorus. A unique example of military architecture. Dinner. Overnight in Istanbul

  • Day 4 :Istanbul
    After breakfast depart for Tour of "Sultan Ahmet Center", the heart of the "Old City" from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled. Hagia Sophia, one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian. Blue Mosque, facing Hagia Sophia, famous with its blue İznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet. Hippodrome, center of sportive events (chariot races, athletics) and political activities of the old city. Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome. Grand Covered Bazaar, most attractive shopping center and the biggest "souk" in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leather ware and souvenir. Topkapı Palace, residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting imperial treasury, sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed, kitchen, Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy section etc. Live guide commentary is not allowed in special sections. Rüstem Paşa Mosque, designed by the court architect Sinan for the Grand Vizier of Süleyman The Magnificent. A typical sample of Islamic architecture amidst the rows of shops near the Spice Bazaar, famed with its exquisite and colorful tiles set in floral and geometric designs. Dinner at Indian Restaurant. Overnight in Istanbul

  • Day 5 :Istanbul
    After breakfast depart for Dolmabahçe Palace, recent residence for Ottoman Sultans built by two Ottoman architects Karabet and Nikogos Balyan. Dinner at Indian Restaurant. Overnight in Istanbul

  • Day 6 :Istanbul - Athens
    After breakfast at the hotel, Transfer to Istanbul airport for flight to Athens. Arrival Athens and transfer to your hotel downtown. Overnight in Athens

  • Day 7 :Classical Tour (Day 1)
    Leave Athens behind and head to the strategically Corinth canal (short stop). Continue to Epidaurus and visit the majestic Ancient theatre, world famous for its outstanding acoustics. Proceed to the beautiful seaport town of Nauplia (short stop) and through the plain of Argos arrive to Myceane. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Learn about the classical Greek culture as you walk through this impressive archaeological site. In the afternoon depart for Olympia, the birth place of the Olympic Games. Overnight stay Olympia.

  • Day 8 :Classical Tour (Day2)
    After breakfast, set off with your guide and visit the impressive archaeological site of Olympia. Marvel at the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the archaeological Museum. Depart via Patras to Rion, cross the Corinthian bay by the famous bridge to Antirion. Pass by the city of Nafpaktos and from there on, along the coastal road to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova. Overnight stay in Delphi

  • Day 9 :Classical Tour (Day 3)
    Rise early and visit the archaeological site of Delphi, one of the most important archaeological treasures, also listed as a UNESCO world Heritage site. Head inside the Delphi museum and encounter numerous artifacts and relics that date back to 15th century BC. Continue to Kalabaka via Central Greece. Overnight stay in Kalabaka.

  • Day 10 :Classical Tour (Day 4)
    Leave in the morning for nearby Meteora to visit the breathtaking Byzantine Monasteries. This UNESCO world Heritage site is home for more than 20 rock monasteries. Discover the natural beauty and the cultural heritage of this area. Return to Athens late in the afternoon passing the heroic monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae. Return back to your hotel. Overnight in Athens

  • Day 11 :Athens Half Day Tour - Mykonos

    From the Acropolis to Omonia Square, with the half-day sightseeing and Acropolis museum tour you'll see all the famous sites of ancient and modern Athens on this comprehensive morning tour. Hear insightful commentary from your guide, and pass top Athens attractions including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Greek Parliament building and Presidential Palace Offering a perfect overview of the modern city, this guided half-day tour will help you get your bearings if this is your first visit to Athens. The Athens half-day tour, depart for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. It is the only stadium built out of white marble. Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus.  You will then pass the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library.

    Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral,  Old Parliament, Constitution Square ,Russian Orthodox Church, and finally ACROPOLIS (visit Propylae the gateway, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens). Stroll up to the UNESCO-listed site that served as the ancient citadel, and tour the buildings as you hear how they reflected Athens’ prosperity in the 5th century BC. Continue the expert guided Athens sightseeing and museum tour with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the  ACROPOLIS museum. Avoid and skip the lines of the new museum. Main attractions such as votives, artifacts of every day life, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze will impress you.

    After tour ends pick up from your hotel and transfer to Rafina port, in order to take the afternoon ferry to the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos. Overnight in Mykonos

  • Day 12 :Leisure Day in Mykonos
    The day is at leisure in Mykonos to explore it at your own pace. Alternatively, you may join the tour to the archaeological site of Delos. Overnight in Mykonos

  • Day 13 :Mykonos - Santorini.

    Pick up at the preappointed time and transfer to the port of mykonos in order to take the highspeed ferry to Santorini. Pick up and transfer to your accommodation.

  • Day 14 :Santorini Volcano Boat tour
    This morning, you will be transferred to the port of Athinios in order to take the tour by traditional boat. The first stop is to the islet of Nea Kameni where you’ll have the opportunity to climb to the crater (1 ½ hour). Next the boat stops to Palaia Kameni for a short swim to the Hot Springs, which are considered to have healing powers (30 minutes). After the swim at the Hot Springs, we will sail on to the island of Thirassia, where you will have time to explore the island, have lunch or swim.  After leaving Thirassia, the boat sails along the coast and ends up at the port of Athinios. Rest of the day at leisure.  Overnight in Santorini.

  • Day 15 :Santorini - Athens
    Transfer to Santorini port to embark the early afternoon ferry boat back to Athens.  Meet with our driver upon disembarkation at the port of Piraeus, and transfer to your downtown accommodation.  Overnight in Athens.

    Today you will be picked up from your hotel to be taken to the Athens airport for your international departure flight.  END OF SERVICES

The north of Istanbul city is Black sea and south of city Marmara sea.

Guided Visit to Dolmabahce Palace with Spice Market

Dolmabahce Palace built in 19 th century is one of the most glamorous palaces in the world. It was the administrative center of the late Ottoman Empire with the last of Ottoman Sultans was residing there. After the foundation of the Turkish Republic in Ankara, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk transferred all government functions to the youthful capital but on his visits to Istanbul Ataturk occupied only a small room at Dolmabahce Palace as his own. He stayed, welcomed his foreign guests and made a practical center for national, historical and language congress and for international conferences.
