Construction of the Great Buddha Hall took place concurrently and the image was dedicated in 752 with a lavish consecration ceremony. Subsequently the Office for the Construction of Tōdai-ji supervised the building of the West and East Pagodas, the Lecture Hall and Monks’ Quarters to complete the temple complex.</div><div>Because Tōdai-ji was the chief temple in the Kokubun-ji system, it was a center for rituals for the peace of the nation and the prosperity of the people; it also functioned, however, as a center for the training of scholar monks who studied Buddhist doctrine.</div><div>In 855 the head of the Great Buddha fell off in a major earthquake. The image was quickly restored. In subsequent years fires and lightning destroyed the Lecture Hall, the Monks’ Quarters and the West Pagoda. Finally in the mid-Edo period the monk Kōkei (1648-1705) petitioned the shogunal government for permission to solicit donations throughout the land and to seek the assistance of some powerful warlords and thus a proper restoration was finally begun. As a result of these efforts, the present Great Buddha was consecrated in 1692 and the Great Buddha Hall was dedicated In 1709.</div><div>After the start of the Meiji period in 1868 edicts legislating the separation of Shinto and Buddhist religious establishments and the confiscation of temple lands threatened the existence of Tōdai-ji. <div>This tour provides outiside view of Osaka Castle.&nbsp; The castle interior is now a historical museum, housing valuable materials and diorama. On the outside, you can enjoy Osaka Castle from various angles and appreciate its magnificent stone walls, architectural features, the vast moat, and many other points of interest around the castle.&nbsp;</div><div><b>History about Osaka Castle :-&nbsp;</b></div><div>Famed general Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who has been described as the "Napoleon of Japan," began the construction of Osaka Castle in 1583. The castle, which was the largest in Japan at the time, was to be the center of a unified Japan under the rule of the Toyotomi clan. Two years after Hideyoshi's death in 1598, however, his military rival Tokugawa Ieyasu defeated Toyotomi troops in the great Battle of Sekigahara in 1600. The decisive victory gave the Tokugawas full control of the whole of Japan, leading to the start of the Tokugawa shogunate and the Edo period in 1603. Osaka Castle fell to the Tokugawa army in 1615, in a siege that resulted in the total annihilation of the Toyotomi clan. In the Boshin War of 1868, the castle was captured by pro-imperial forces. The new Meiji government demolished the castle and used the grounds for military barracks. The castle was rebuilt in 1931, but was used as a military arsenal. As a result, it was targeted by American forces during World War II and the rebuilt main tower was destroyed again. The current rebuild was finished in 1997. It is constructed in concrete to the specifications of the original tower, and the interior now contains a museum documenting the castle's tumultuous history.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">Dotonbori is a canalside entertainment district popular with students and after-work drinkers who pack into small bars and izakaya taverns. Narrow lanes are lit at night by neon billboards, like the iconic Glico running man sign, and lined with street food vendors serving grilled takoyaki octopus balls. Shochikuza Theatre hosts kabuki drama and live music, and Kamigata Ukiyoe Museum shows classic woodblock prints.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">Nara Park is a public park located in the city of Nara, Japan, at the foot of Mount Wakakusa. Established in 1880, it is one of the oldest parks in Japan. Administratively, the park is under the control of Nara Prefecture</div>

The name Kinkaku-ji means the Temple of the Golden Pavilion. Constructed in Kyoto's northern hills in 1398 by Yoshimitsu, the third Ashikaga shogun, it was once part of a much larger villa complex. When he died it became a Zen temple in accordance with his will. Kinkakuji is an impressive structure built overlooking a large pond, and is the only building left of Yoshimitsu's former retirement complex. It has burned down numerous times throughout its history including twice during the Onin War, a civil war that destroyed much of Kyoto; and once again more recently in 1950 when it was set on fire by a fanatic monk. The present structure was rebuilt in 1955. We provides outside view of the temple. Each floor represents a different style of architecture. The first floor is built in the Shinden style used for palace buildings during the Heian Period, and with its natural wood pillars and white plaster walls contrasts yet complements the gilded upper stories of the pavilion. Statues of the Shaka Buddha (historical Buddha) and Yoshimitsu are stored in the first floor. Although it is not possible to enter the pavilion, the statues can be viewed from across the pond if you look closely, as the front windows of the first floor are usually kept open. The second floor is built in the Bukke style used in samurai residences, and has its exterior completely covered in gold leaf. Inside is a seated Kannon Bodhisattva surrounded by statues of the Four Heavenly Kings; however, the statues are not shown to the public. Finally, the third and uppermost floor is built in the style of a Chinese Zen Hall, is gilded inside and out, and is capped with a golden phoenix. The third level is built in the Zen style, with cusped windows and ornamentation. Appropriately, it houses an Amida triad and twenty-five Bodhisattvas. A Chinese phoenix crowns the eaves.

<div style="text-align: justify; ">Cruise on Lake Ashi provides a beautiful view of Lake Ashi, a lake formed in the caldera of Mount Hakone after the volcano’s last eruption 3,000 years ago. Today, Lake Ashi is often pictured with Mount Fuji in the background as a symbol of Hakone. The best views of the lake in combination with Mt. Fuji can be enjoyed from Moto-Hakone, Hakone Detached Palace Garden, and from sightseeing boats cruising the lake. Note however, that clouds and poor visibility often block the view of Mt. Fuji, and you must consider yourself very lucky if you get a clear view of the mountain. Colder seasons and early mornings and late evenings often provide better views of the mountain. A boat cruise from one end of the lake to the other takes roughly 30 minutes. At the northern end of the lake, the Hayakawa River runs through Miyanoshita.</div>

<div><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The great Torii gate in the distance with the shrine behind is one of your first images of Miyajima Island as you approach on the ferry but you’ll see it much closer and more clearly once on the island.&nbsp; During the high tide it appears to be floating in the sea and at low tide you can walk out to it and pass through the gate.</span></div>

The shrine was believed to have been first founded in 593 although the first documented record isn’t until 811 and the basis of the current design dates back to 1168.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The shopping street between the ferry terminal and the shrine is a popular spot for buying souvenirs (omiyage), having a meal or picking up a snack.&nbsp; There’s even a little spa where you can have a fish nibbling pedicure if you’ve been meaning to try this unique treatment.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify; "><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Asakusa Sensoji Temple is the oldest and most visited temple around Tokyo. The origin of Asakusa Sensoji Temple dates way back to the 6th century. It is said that in 628,&nbsp; two brothers, the Hinokuma brothers, who were fishing at a river nearby, happened to fish a Buddha statue. The brothers brought the Buddha statue home, rebuilt their home into a temple, and started a temple which later came to be known as Asakusa Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Sensoji Temple is known to bring luck for almost anything: health, studies, love, etc. In front of the main hall of the temple, you will see many people covering themselves with smoke. The smoke they are covering themselves with, is believed to make the part they covered with smoke better. Therefore, many people pat smoke on their head in order to make themselves smarter. Asakusa Sensoji Temple is not just a normal shrine. It has a long path called “Nakamise-dori”, a path jam packed with souvenir stores all along the way to the main hall. You can find anything here: Kimonos, chopsticks, fans, Japanese confectionary, keychains, T-shirts, you name it. It was created around 3000 years ago, as a result of the explosion of the Hakone volcano.</span></p><p><span style="text-align: justify;">Weekend tourists pack the Owakudani valley, known for its steaming sulfur vents at Mount Hakone's base. Souvenir shops and a food court at the visitors' center offer kuro-tamago — black-shelled eggs boiled in volcanic hot springs. On clear days, cable car rides on the Hakone Ropeway feature panoramic Mount Fuji views. Near the station, hikers can follow a scenic trail leading to the summit of Mount Kamiyama</span></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Owakudani (大涌谷, Ōwakudani) is the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone some 3000 years ago. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes, hot springs and hot rivers can be experienced. Additionally, Owakudani has good views of Mount Fuji on clear days.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Eggs cooked in Owakudani's hot spring pools with their shells blackened by the sulfur are on sale at shops in the area, and eating one is said to prolong one's life by seven years.</p><p><span style="text-align: justify;"></span></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">A short walking trail leads from the ropeway station into the volcanic zone to a number of steam vents and bubbling pools. The walk takes around 30 minutes in total. Admission to the trail requires advance reservations and costs 800 yen.</p>

<div><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">This intriguing shrine was dedicated to the god of rice and sake by the Hata clan in the 8th century. As the role of agriculture diminished, deities were enrolled to ensure prosperity in business enterprises. Fushimi Inari Shrine has ancient origins, predating the capital's move to Kyoto in 794.</span></div>

The walk around the upper precincts is a pleasant day hike. It also makes for a delightfully eerie stroll in the late afternoon and early evening, when the various graveyards and miniature shrines along the path take on a mysterious air.</span></div>

This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member.
