Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Jeddah

    After you complete your immigration and customs, you will meet our local representative who will take you to your hotel. Check into your hotel and relax. In the evening you will visit Al Balad (Jeddah old city) – former walled city of traditional houses with wooden balconies, mosques and bazaars in narrow alleys. Overnight at Jeddah Hotel. 

  • Day 2 :Jeddah

    After breakfast at the hotel you start your day by visiting the desert safari where you can try quad bikes in the desert. Lunch at a restaurant and then go back to the hotel and relax. In the evening visit the Jeddah cornice – a 30 km coastal area located along the Red Sea, the corniche features a coastal area, recreation areas, pavilion and large scale civic sculptures as well as King Fahd’s Fountain, the highest fountain in the world. Also located here is the Al-Rahman Mosque which is a popular attraction to visitors. Overnight at Jeddah Hotel.

  • Day 3 :Jeddah To Alula

    After breakfast at the hotel you check out and transfer to Jeddah Airport for your flight to Alula. On arrival you will meet our local representative who will take you to your hotel. Check into your hotel and relax. Later visit the Elephant Rock – the elephant shaped rock formation stretches up 52 meters into the sky, its warm hued sandstone by wind and water erosion over the course of millions of years and then you visit the Hegra –also known as Mada’in Salih, is an archaeological site located in the area of Al-‘Ula within Medina Province in the Hejaz region, Saudi Arabia. A majority of the remains date back to the Nabataean Kingdom. Overnight at Alula Hotel.

  • Day 4 :Alula

    After breakfast at the hotel you start your day by visiting the Heritage Oasis Trail – this 3km tour along this trail is a fabulous way to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the oasis while learning about its important role in Alula’s history. Visit Jabal Ikmah and Dadan – explore the ancient sites to marvel at the rock art, inscriptions and petroglyphs (engraving) from the 9th century. After lunch you return to your hotel and rest for some time. Later in the evening you are picked up for barbeque dinner and overnight stay at Alula Hotel.

  • Day 5 :Alula

    After breakfast at the hotel you start your day by taking a 30 minutes helicopter ride to see Alula from the skies. You then visit the old town of Alula. Lunch at a local restaurant. Later you visit Al Jadidah District – a twinkling art district eager to be explored, with restaurants and café options ranging from artisanal coffee shops and gourmet oasis-to-table dining to a bustling knot of food trucks and then visit the Hurrat Viewpoint- the viewpoint sits on top of Hurrat Uwayrid, a volcanic mountain situated in a lava field. Overnight at Alula Hotel.

  • Day 6 :Return Flight

    After breakfast you check out from your hotel and transfer to the Alula Airport for your flight back home.

Hegra

One of AlUla’s most famous settlements is Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, carved tombs are from around 2nd century BCE until 106 CE.

Hegra, also known as Mada’in Salih, is an archaeological site located in the area of Al-'Ula within Medina Province in the Hejaz region, Saudi Arabia.
