His widow Pamela Chopra and his daughter-in-law, Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji, travelled from India especially to attend the ceremony Yash Chopra is still regarded as one of the greatest figures in the Indian film industry. He directed some of the biggest blockbusters such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) and Darr in the Jungfrau Region and so made a major contribution to the Jungfraujoch and the region becoming popular in India. Today, numerous guests still travel from India to visit film locations such as the Top of Europe and to actually touch snow. Urs Kessler, CEO of Jungfrau Railways says: “The Indian market is extremely important to us, which is why we cultivate it intensively and also actively support the film productions. With our guests from India particularly in mind, in 2014 we totally renovated the Bollywood Restaurant on the Jungfraujoch.” Guests from India also make up a significant proportion of visitors to Interlaken. “The new statue in the Kursaal garden will become a hotspot for Indian tourists” says Tourism director Stefan Otz with confidence Ambassador of Interlaken. In 2011 a train of the Jungfrau Railway was christened ‘Yash Chopra’. The film director attended the ceremony in person and at the same time was awarded the title of ‘Ambassador of Interlaken’. A suite in the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel &amp; Spa was also named after him. At the time, Chopra said, “It is an emotional and historic moment. These felicitations are not just for me, but for my industry and, my country, India.” Yash Chopra died in October 2012 at the age of 80.</div></div>

Participants on this snowshoe tour have the peaks of the Jungfrau massif at their backs and the striking Lobhorn peaks before them. From there, the path rises steadily uphill along the marked path, through snow-covered mountain forests and open plains to the Lobhornhütte.     Past the mountain restaurant and up to the Herzlisee, a magical ride on the
  chairlift leads to the Brunnihütte. Many, many people had the same plan, some
  because of the Kneipp path around the mountain pond. It's wonderful to feel
  the ground barefoot. The others cluster around the barbecue areas with
  panoramic views, between streams, butterflies and hiking boots. It's a matter
  of avoiding the crowds and going to the kiosk, where anyone can buy a sausage
  who didn't expect barbecue sites at 1860 metres above sea level. The whole
  offer is staged absolutely professionally, it makes the excursion into the
  mountains a guaranteed happy venture. You feel cared for, even pampered, in
  this high-level entertainment area in the most beautiful landscape.<br>

    Even if you are looking for less alpine spectacle, you will have no problem
  finding what you are looking for in the Obwalden valley: Engelberg offers
  alternatives for all moods and weather conditions. If you don't want to
  climb, bike or hike, for example to the end of the world, as a four-hour
  route is so wonderfully called, you can also take it easy. For example, you
  can take the local bus through the valley, past the scenery of the Karl May
  open-air plays that have been held here since last summer. The station is the
  rustic gondola lift that connects the valley floor with the mountain
  restaurant Fürenalp. The mountain landscape here is spectacular, with steep
  rock faces from which waterfalls shoot out.<br>

What is permanent is the magnificent view of Lake Geneva and Notre-Dame Cathedral, a view that inspired the leading landscape painter Camille Corot.In 1841, the banker Charles-Juste Bugnion purchased a piece of land above Lausanne and built a stately mansion on it. The view from the mansion onto Lake Geneva and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, the most important Swiss Gothic edifice, was immortalized by Camille Corot in a painting.In 1976 Bugnion's descendents bequeathed the building and a part of the park to the City of Lausanne. It has a maximum incline of 110 percent, which is a world record! This amazing feat of engineering brings you up to the delightful mountain village of Stoos, where you can take a wander and soak up the picturesque atmosphere. There is a small reservoir lake to enjoy, with picnic spots and children's water play areas.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>Fronalpstock</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;">From Stoos you can travel even higher, to the summit of the Fronalpstock at 1,922m. You can purchase tickets in Stoos for the covered chairlift, or if you are going to be doing a lot of travelling, consider a day pass from the Schwyz valley station which covers the funicular, the Fronalpstock lift and the Morschach cable car.&nbsp; From the summit, you will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view – ten lakes, Pilatus, Rigi, Säntis, the high Alps and the mountains all the way to the Jura region. Look straight down and you can see Brunnen and the Rütli meadow. You might wish to undertake one of the hiking trails, such as the panoramic circular hike (less than an hour) or the more challenging ridgeway hike which connects Fronalpstock with Klingenstock. On one side of the ridge, far below, is sparkling Lake Lucerne and on the other Muotatal. Alternatively, you may prefer to wander, enjoy the view and have lunch in the rustic mountain restaurant, which also has a large sun terrace.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>Morschach</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;">On a sunny plateau lies the charming village of Morschach, overlooking Lake Lucerne. It is highly recommended that you visit the village during your day in the region as there is Swiss charm aplenty here and fabulous views over the water and across to the mountains. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants to tempt you and plenty of sports and adventure activities from which to choose locally.&nbsp; A small cable car connects Morschach and Stoos, so you can decide which village to visit first. you may also like to note that Morschach lies on the classic Swiss Trail path, taking you through the heart of Switzerland.&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>Hölloch caves</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify; ">The fascinating Hölloch is considered one of the largest cave systems in the world at over 200km, created by the power of nature over the course of a million years. There are 2 hour guided tours available: a comfortable walk through the first 700m of the cave. The guide will be able to tell you a lot about the formation of the cave, the animals that live there and the unique acoustics! The temperature remains at a constant 6 degrees Celsius (and a humidity of over 90 percent), so you will need to wear warm clothes and sturdy footwear. You will be provided with a helmet and headlamp. Must be pre-booked. Bödmeren Forest The Bödmeren wood – one of Europe's most beautiful forests – can be visited while you are in the region. In contrast to the bare mountain karst, there are slim pines, willows and a dense, sub-Alpine spruce forest. You can take a guided hike through the forest to learn about its development and history, as the path leads you through individual vegetation phases following the retreat of the glaciers. Winter visits The area can be enjoyed all year round. In winter, there is skiing as well as thrilling toboggan runs and scenic winter hiking trails. The short winter hiking trail on the summit will show you the entire 360-degree snow-covered panorama. From Brunnen and Lucerne take the train to lively Schywz, the regional capital town, followed by the bus to the Stoosbahn funicular valley station. Alternatively, from Brunnen, you can take the bus to Morschach, then pick up the Stoos cable car. Please check before travel for maintenance closures.&nbsp;</div>

This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member.
