Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Geneva/Zurich –Montreux

    Arrive at Geneva/Zurich International Airport. Transfer yourself to the station located on the airport. With your Swiss Rail Pass take a train to Montreux.  The city is the most frequented resort on Lake Geneva and famous for its beautiful lakeside location, in the heart of Western Switzerland. Arrive and Check in to your Hotel. Opt to visit Chillon castle. The Castle is located on Lake Geneva and is renowned for its beauty of being preserved as the best medieval European Castles. Overnight in Montreux.

  • Day 2 :Montreux – Zermatt Or Rochers De Naye – Montreux

    After breakfast, Today you can opt to visit Zermatt the car free resort & visit the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise (not included). The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise has the highest cable car station in Europe which gives panoramic 360° views of the Alps .At 4,478 meters, the majestic Matterhorn, also called the "jewel of the Swiss Alps", looms over the breathtaking Alpine panorama. This Switzerland landmark is at the border of the western Swiss canton of Valais between Zermatt and the Italian resort of Breuil-Cervinia, and offers a paradise for all nature-lovers looking for peace and quiet. Its symmetric pyramid shape, the rocky tooth reaching the sky and the light reflections of the nearby Stellisee make the Matterhorn’s landscape a unique natural spectacle in Zermatt. Later return back to Montreux. Or you can also opt for A 55-minute rack-train ride from Montreux, Les Rochers-de-Naye offers unrivalled views over the Alps and Lake Geneva. The highest point of these mountains is just over 2,000 meters. In winter, they are transformed into a charming winter sports area – and in the summer season, they’re the ideal place for hiking. Overnight in Montreux.

  • Day 3 :Montreux– Vevey – Gstaad – Montreux
    After breakfast, take a train to Vevey. Vevey is a Swiss town on Lake Geneva. It is the final home for Legendary Comedian Charlie Chaplin and his family. Enjoy at this beautiful town which holds a tribute to Charlie Chaplin Statue. Later take train to Gstaad, a paradise for luxury shoppers, having reputation as a fashionable mecca for the jet-set is global, attractively located place full of restored weathered-wood chalets between four gently sloping valleys. Also popular as the Yash Raj Chopra town! Bollywood fans can also OPT for Bollywood shooting locations tour. Later take a Golden Pass Line train back to Montreux . Overnight in Montreux

  • Day 4 :Montreux – Interlaken
    After breakfast, check out and take a train to Interlaken. Interlaken is situated between turquoise Lake Brienz, deep blue Lake Thun , has panoramic views of the majestic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfraujoch. Whichever season you visit here you will have something to look forward to, enjoy the magnificent blooms of spring, the adventures of summer, the colours of autumn and atmospheric winters in the heart of Switzerland. Arrive and check into the Hotel. Later take Lake Thun Cruise (Free with Swiss Rail Pass), here you can opt to visit St. Beatus Caves during the cruise.  Or you can take Lake Brienz Cruise (Free with Swiss Rail Pass) and opt to visit Istelwald Town, Geisbach Waterfalls. Return back to Hotel. Overnight in Interlaken.

  • Day 5 :Interlaken – Mt. Piltaus – Lucerne – Interlaken

    Today depart to Lucerne for a Golden Roundtrip to visit Mt. Pilatus. While waiting for the boat in Lucerne, you will see the Chapel Bridge and towers of the Musegg Wall, a couple of Lucerne’s landmarks. The boat offers a leisurely way of crossing Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad. The steepest cogwheel railway in the world takes you to Pilatus Kulm, the summit, in only 30 minutes. The vegetation changes constantly, from the reeds of the lake to lush green meadows, while fragrant forests make way for a rugged mountain scape featuring striking rock formations. Visitors with a sense of adventure can let loose in the rope park here, or hurtle down the toboggan run. Later visit Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, sited on Lake Lucerne, is embedded within an impressive mountainous panorama. Evening go for the Lake Lucerne Cruise. Later return back to Interlaken Hotel. Overnight in Interlaken.

  • Day 6 :Interlaken – Mt. Jungfraujoch – Interlaken

    After morning breakfast, visit to Mt. Jungfraujoch- highest train station in Europe. Jungfraujoch lies in the heart, of the Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Enjoy at the Sphinx viewing building, the Ice Palace, the plateau for walks in eternal snow - these are the year-round attractions on the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe. Today you get to experience the spectacular ride in the new Eiger Express cabin from Grindelwald & ride on the Jungfrau Railway through the north face of the Eiger, one the way to Jungfraujoch. Along with Jungfrau, you can also opt to visit Lauterbrunnen today, where you can stop and take a Post bus to see Trummelbach Glacier Falls (Entrance not Included). Return back and Overnight in Interlaken.

  • Day 7 :Interlaken – Zurich- Lindt Chocolate Factory/ Rhine Falls

    After breakfast, check out from Interlaken and take a train to Zurich. The city is situated at the northern tip of Lake Zurich and on the Limmat river. Whether for a coffee or beer at a waterfront restaurant or a cruise on Lake Zurich with views of the Alps: the city is virtually unrivalled when it comes to combining cosmopolitan flair, nature and indulgence. Arrive at Zurich, and check in to the hotel. Visit Lindt Chocolate Factory. The Lindt Home of Chocolate is a milestone in Swiss chocolate history and great experience for chocolate fans around the globe. Or opt to visit  Rhine Falls - the largest falls in Europe. You can take a train to Schaffhausen arrive and take post bus to Rhine Falls - the largest falls in Europe. Take an optional boat ride (summer only, additional costs) close to the falls. Admire panoramic views, walk to the viewpoints above and around the falls to thrill at their roar and power. Later evening, enjoy shopping at Bahnhofstrasse. Overnight in Zurich.

Located in central Switzerland and steeped in legends is Lucerne’s own mountain – Pilatus. At 2073 metres above sea level and views over 73 Alpine peaks on a clear day, this is one of the most scenic spots in Switzerland. There are a few legends surrounding the mountain. One of them says that it is named after the famous ruler Pontius Pilate who is believed to be buried there. Another says that in the Middle Ages, dragons with healing powers lived among the cliffs.But whether you believe the legends or not, you will definitely agree that a visit to Mount Pilatus will be one of the highlights of your travel to Switzerland. Among the many exciting things that you will experience is the steepest cogwheel train in the world! Pilatus is located very close to Lucerne can be easily accessed by train, boat or bus. The journey is as exciting as the peak itself. The most famous route is the Golden Round Trip, which can be done from May to October and allows you to experience an amazingly diverse journey

Toboggan Run

One of the most sought after activities is the toboggan run in Frakmuntegg. Get your adrenaline pumping as you zip through steep curves on this 1350 meter run which makes it the longest summer toboggan run in Switzerland. Children below 2 years are not allowed.

Pilu Land (Free)

An amazing fun park on the Krienseregg. A perfect place for your kids to play and romp around. The park offers a dragon castle, a dragon forest and even a dragon moor where kids can discover the flora and fauna of the region. There are lots of shady places for cozy family picnics as well

Dragon World (Free)

A newly opened attraction at Pilatus. Great for kids. Welcome to an interactive dragon filled experience through games and special effects.

Dragon Glider (Additional Cost Will Be Applied) 

Sit, relax, glide and enjoy the Dragon Glider from Fräkmüntegg to the Drachenalp. Go over trees and forests while enjoying the calm and serene views. This is the first Glider in Switzerland that allows you to also have a fun turn. Don’t be afraid, with a speed of just 12 kilometres per hour and an amazing team of people that will personally check that you are perfectly secured, all you have to do is enjoy!

Tandem Paragliding (Additional Cost Will Be Applied)
