  • Day 1 :Arrive to Washington D.C.
    Welcome toWashington, DC, the U.S. capital, is a compact city on the Potomac River, bordering the states of Maryland and Virginia. It’s defined by imposing neoclassical monuments and buildings – including the iconic ones that house the federal government’s 3 branches: the Capitol, White House and Supreme Court. It's also home to iconic museums and performing-arts venues such as the Kennedy Center. On arrival at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport orDulles International Airport transfer to the hotel on SIC basis. Overnight at the hotel.

The Arlington National Cemetery is one of the most recognised cemeteries in the United States and is the final resting place for many American heroes. Take a hop on – hop off bus tour around the vast grounds rich in history. The tour takes you through the picturesque cemetery grounds to the main monuments and memorials that tell the personal stories of individuals who have made a mark in the course of American history. With the help of the interpretative guide, you’ll learn about the war victims and characters that made a difference in the world of exploration, medicine, science and sports among many. Gain an insight into American history through the personalities that are buried here, for example, the first explorer to plant the American flag at the North Pole, Matthew Henson, and about boxing Heavyweight Champion, Joe Louis.

Old Town Trolley Tour - 24 hours

For over 30 years, we are provided Washington DC sightseeing tours highlighting the best of the city. Hop aboard one of our trolleys and you’ll experience Transportainment, a delightful combination of transportation and entertainment. Our friendly conductors narrate the tour with a fascinating and fun mix of trivia and humorous stories. It will be our pleasure to guide you through the nation’s capital on one of our orange and green trolleys.

Old Town Trolley Tours is the best way to see the city. Because we cover the entire city, you can avoid costly parking and city driving. The tour is also designed so that you can hop on and off and explore on your own at any time. With frequent pickups at all our stops, this helps you avoid walking long distances.

Visit our Union Station, the most visited destination in DC, serving as a transportation depot and retail center since 1908. See the Capitol building, Supreme Court, and Library of Congress on the East end of the mall. Visit the Smithsonian, the National Gallery, and the Museum of Natural History.

Learn about some of the country’s most significant presidents at the Jefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial, and Lincoln Memorial. Check out the International Spy Museum and the Koshland Science Museum. Don’t forget to check out that large white building at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue too.

The BLUE LOOP has 25 stops and includes the National Mall, Downtown and Arlington National Cemetery.

The National Mall/Downtown route has 15 stops, and the Arlington National Cemetery route has 7 stops weekdays/10 stops weekends.

The RED LOOP is a transfer shuttle between the Lincoln Memorial stop and Arlington National Cemetery (10-15 mins).

Special Instructions :

Start / Opening time: At 9am. Arlington Cemetery Shuttle begins at 9:30am from Arlington National Cemetery, and picks up from stop 11 at 9:45am.

End/closing time: The last re-boarding is at 5pm. Last pick-up at Lincoln Memorial is at 4:30pm.

Frequency: Every 30 Minutes.

Arlington National Cemetery Tour - Guided

Honour. Remember. Explore. The Arlington National Cemetery is one of the most recognised cemeteries in the United States and is the final resting place for many American heroes. Take a hop on – hop off bus tour around the vast grounds rich in history.

The tour takes you through the picturesque cemetery grounds to the main monuments and memorials that tell the personal stories of individuals who have made a mark in the course of American history. Gain an insight into American history through the personalities that are buried here, for example, the first explorer to plant the American flag at the North Pole, Matthew Henson, and about boxing Heavyweight Champion, Joe Louis.

See the gravesite of John F. Kennedy, one of two U.S. Presidents who are buried in the cemetery, and visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the striking and solemn Ampitheater. Every Easter, Memorial Day and Veterans Day, services are held here to honour and respect American defenders. Other time honoured ceremonies continue to take place here, such as the Changing of the Guard which happens every hour on the hour, and as you walk or drive around the cemetery, you’ll have time to reflect and contemplate.
