Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Arrival Saigon

    Arrive at Saigon Airport. then freshen up and Visit Saigon City Tour -  visit outside of Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica (is renovating until 2022), a neo-Roman cathedral built by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles, Saigon Central Post Office, which was designed and constructed in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. Then, visit the War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans. End of day, you have free time to go shopping at Ben Thanh Market . Hotel Chk In Pre Chk In Not Included. Overnight at Saigon.

  • Day 2 :Ho Chi Minh - Chu Chi Tunnel Tour

    Morning Breakfast at Hotel, then take a half-day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, 75 km Northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and later on Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges. Back to Saigon.

  • Day 3 :Ho Chi Minh - Full Day Mytho (Mekong Delta) 65km - 2hour Driving

    Morning, after breakfast, travel by road to the Mekong Delta, the world’s largest delta and Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho City, capital of Tieng Giang Provine, embark on a boat and navigate through intricate canals while observing the local daily life up close as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. Land on the Unicorn Island to enjoy wandering through verdant orchards, tasting fresh fruits and listening to some Southern style traditional music. Move on to the second delta province, Ben Tre, where you will watch local villagers make coconut candy in a rural workshop, walk around briefly and try riding a horse-pulled carriage. More cruising to some bee-keeping households to taste fresh homegrown honey and honey tea.  Go back Ho Chi Minh City and spend time at leisure. Overnight In Saigon

War Remnants museum

The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh has opened to the guest in 1975. Once known as the 'Museum of American War Crimes', it is a shocking reminder of the long and brutal Vietnam War. Graphic photographs and US military equipment are on display. There is a rocket launcher, a tank, a fighter aircraft, a helicopter with a single-seater attack aircraft. You can also see a conventional bomb which weighs 6,800 kg. American soldiers used these weapons against the Vietnamese between 1945 and 1975.

War Remnants Museum Highlights
The most popular exhibition in the War Remnants Museum is the 'tiger cage'. The South Vietnamese government kept its political prisoners in these imprisonment. Locals believe that 14 people are imprisoned in a cage at a time. The museum also has a guillotine brought by the French government. Both the French and South Vietnamese used it until 1960 to execute their prisoners.

It is also shown that the photographs of the victims had to be severely 'Agent Orange'. 4.8 million people were exposed to strong pesticides and chemical sprays. The Vietnamese Foreign Ministry believes that 500,000 children were born with birth defects.

The War Remnants Museum is located in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. It is every day from 07:30 to 16:30. Visiting this war museum can be a harrowing experience for most people. Although children may enter, we highly recommend against it.

Reunification Palace

The Reunification palace was the basis of Vietnamese General Ngo Dinh Diem until his death in 1963. The Reunification palace made its name in global history in 1975. A tank belonging to the North Vietnamese army crashed through its main gate, ending the Vietnam War. 

The palace is like a capsule frozen in 1975. You can see the two original tanks used to occupy the palace parked in the grounds. The Reunion Palace was the home and workplace of the French governor of Cochin-China. It has lush green gardens, secret rooms, antique furniture and a command bunker. It is still in use to host important occasions in Ho Chi Minh including the APEC Summit.

Reunification Palace Highlights

The Revaluation Palace has five levels. The basement has a tunnel, a war room, and a telecommunications center. There are original maps on the walls of the battle command room. Period telecommunications equipment is also on display. The cellar rooms surrounding it display war propaganda material. On the third floor, there is a card playing room while the fourth is a casino. The roof terrace of the reunion palace is equipped with a heliport.

Reunification Palace

The Reclamation Palace is open from 07: 30–12: 00 and 13: 00–16: 00. You can buy tickets at the main gate located on the east side of the palace gardens. Security will check your bag for security reasons. Free guided tours are available in English, French, Japanese and Chinese. Close to Ben Thanh Market, the palace is on Man Ky Khoi Nghia Street.

Mekong Delta

The Mekong Delta is a network of dis-tributaries between Ho Chi Minh City and Cambodia in southwest Vietnam. The river itself begins in the Himalayas and passes through China, Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia before reaching Vietnam, which partly explains why the waters are so high. More than half of Vietnam's rice and fish come from the delta region. Considered important for the Vietnamese economy and diet.

Life in the area revolves around water, from well-known temporary markets to huge agricultural industries. A wonderful variety of fruits, flowers and animals grow in this region. The Mekong River Delta is the rice basket of Vietnam, providing sustenance to millions of people.

Itinerary :

(8 am / 8: 30 pm)Depart for Full Day tour to Meknog  River Delta.Upon arrival, cruising the boat on the mighty Mekong that saw life Let's see. Local people live near banks. We stop traveling to an island in the area, enjoying fresh tropical fruits served in the middle of a lush green garden with traditional South Vietnamese folk music. Later, other small boats stopped by the locals should embark, to visit local factories, through small canals shaded by water coconut trees. There you will taste honey tea and see that the locals produce coconut candy milk and of course you can also try it or take a walk in the garden, where the locals feed honey.

Later in the afternoon, continue to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a famous pagoda in the area with an architectural combination of Chinese, Cambodian and French cultures. Return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh.
