Mokoro Ride in the Okavango Delta

The Mokoro is a common type of canoe used to get around in the shallow waters of Okavango Delta. A maze of sparkling lagoons and roundabout channels and overgrown islands crowded with wildlife, Botswana’s Okavango Delta lies in the sparking jewel at the core of the ‘Kalahari Desert’. Traditionally, Mokoro are made from dug out trunks of large straight trees, like ebony, and kigelia and but today. Mokoro ride in Delta is an absolute “must do” even if at first it at first seems terrifying.

It's One of The Best Trips We Have Done Till Now!

I am pleased to share that the saidtrip was one of the best trips  we have done till now. With the scenic destinations and good selection of tourist spots for the tour, hotels and food was also excellent. Especially, the tour to Victoria Falls and Botswana, it was beyond imagination to get the taste like homemade Gujarati food arranged by Flamingo as well as service of the local tour operator.
