Bungee Jump from Kawarau Bridge

The Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge which passes over the Kawarau River in the Otago region in the South Island of New Zealand. The bridge is mainly used for commercial purposes by the AJ Hackett Bungy Company for the purposes of bungee jumping. The location was the world's first commercial bungee jumping site. The bridge is a  part of the Queenstown Trail which permits walkers, runners and bikers to pass over the river. No visit to Queenstown would be whole without a stop at the Kawarau Bungy Centre, The World Home of Bungy, opened in 1988. Home of the world’s first and most famous of leaps, this 43 metre Bungy Jump is still the most admired Bungy site attracting thousands of thrill-seekers every year.
