Best Time To Visit Philippines

Set your heart on a destination, we will help you find the best time to visit.

Philippines’ islands largely experience hot, tropical weather all-round the year. There two major seasons. October to April is the dry season – March and April is particularly favorable for divers. May to September is the wet season and it gets extremely humid and hot. Most people tend to travel between January and May when cool breeze brings respite from the heat. The rainfall patterns vary from place to place and hence it is advisable to check the local climate of particular destinations while travelling. In any case, rainwear is essential to be carried when travelling to Philippines and be ready for adventures – spontaneous and flexible domestic travel is the rule to follow. That being said, it is important to beware of cyclones and typhoons, mostly between July and October. This is, in fact, the time when surfers visit the islands looking for giant waves.

Trip Planned By Flamingo Was One Of The Best Trip

I am glad to inform that my Philippines trip planned by Flamingo was one of the best trips. The coordination between local tour agency and guides as well as drivers seemed extremely smooth. The best part of the trip was the welcoming culture of the country that we have experienced. The hotels in all three destinations were either as per expectation or above expectation. Here, I would like to give a special mention to "Princesa Garden Island and Resort" property. It is an awesome resort with lots of greenery. A perfect place to spend some time away from concrete jungles.
The city tour of Manila was a learning experience of Filipino culture. The guide, Mr. Abdulla, is a man with deep knowledge of Filipino culture and is a very friendly person. The countryside tour of Bohol was the most peaceful journey due to its clean weather and sweet people. The Guitar factory in Mactan city (Cebu) showed us the world of strings. We saw all the levels of production that are performed to make world-class guitars and ukulele. Though we missed visiting the underground river tour at Puerto Princesa, it seems to be a must visit place as it also features in seven wonders of the nature.
