Geography in Cappadocia

Cappadocia is an exemplification of Mother Nature's miracles and the geology, with tremendous sedimentary rocks, slopes and stones. Situated in central Anatolia, the area is described by the nearness of a level with an elevation of around 1000 m. The level is punctured by a few volcanic crests, of which Mount Erciyes is the tallest (with an elevation of 12847 ft). Toward the south lies the Taurus Mountains and toward the west, there is Lycaonia and Galatia. Cappadocia is circumscribed by the upper Euphrates in the east.
