Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Ahmedabad - Bhavnagar - (171 Kms – 4 Hrs)

    Proceed and start tour to explore Saurashtra towards Bhavnagar from Ahmedabad. After about 4 Hrs journey reach Bhavnagar early evening. Check-in at Hotel. Bhavnagar is 5th largest city of Gujarat and is also called cultural capital of the state. Pure marble post nineteenth century the Taktesh Mahadev temple is a major tourist attraction in Bhavnagar. Gandhi Smriti is another place which familiarizes the tourists with works of life of Mahatma Gandhi. Numerous visitors throng here for spending their holidays at Bhavnagar. Various tourist attractions like Takhteshwar Temple, Gandhi Smriti Museum and Barton Museum grab the attention. Don’t miss to taste the popular Gujarati snacks ‘Ganthiya.   • Day 2 :Bhavnagar - Sasan Gir (220 Kms – 6 Hrs ) - Palitana Temple

    Enjoy Breakfast and Check-Out from hotel. Proceed towards Sasan Gir. Enroute visit the famous Palitana: The Jain Temple. There are few temple complexes that compare to it. Palitana, in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat, is a full city with as many as 823 temples of different sizes, dedicated to the 24 Tirthankaras or Holy Saints of the Jain community. Built over the hill Shatrunjaya, Jains believe that 23 of the holy Tirthankaras actually visited this hill. No wonder then, that this is the biggest pilgrimage site for the Jains – their Vatican.Later in early evening arrive Sasan Gir. Check-in at Hotel. Evening free for leisure.   • Day 3 :Gir Safari

    Explore the Gir National Park for Wildlife watching in the morning. Sasan Gir is one of the popular wildlife national parks that offer home to many Asiatic Lions. It also offer habitat to a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators recorded in the park include the Panther and the Hyena, The Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (spotted deer), Nilgai (blue bull), Chinkara, the Chowsingha (four horned antelope), the bear and the long tailed LangurEvening again explore National Park Safari. Back to Resort. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Gir.

  • Day 4 :Sasan Gir - Somnath (40 Kms – 1 Hr)

    After Breakfast check-out and proceed towards Somnath. On your way, visit the Bhalka Tirth Temple. Bhalka Tirth is a renowned Hindu pilgrim centre which is believed to be the location where Lord Krishna was shot by a hunter's arrow. According to the sacred scripts, Lord Krishna's death marks the end of the Diaper Yoga and the beginning of the Kali Yug. The Tirth has a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and is called Mahaprabhuji's Bethak. Later in afternoon, reach Somnath. Check-in at Hotel. Evening Aarti Darshan and Leaser Show at Somnath Temple. Dinner and Overnight stay at Somnath.

  • Day 5 :Somnath - Porbandar - Dwarka (230 Kms – 5 Hrs )

    After Breakfast check-out and proceed towards The Holy Place Dwarka. On your way, visit the Kirti Mandir in Porbandar, the haveli in which Mahatma Gandhi was born. It is now a museum. Also, visit the Sudama Temple, built to honor the friendship between Krishna and Sudama. Later in early evening arrive Dwarka. Check-in at Hotel. Evening Sandhya Aarti Darshan at Dwarkadhis Temple. Dinner and Overnight stay at Dwarka.

  • Day 6 :Dwarka Sightseeing’s - Jamnagar (130 Kms – 3 Hrs )

    Early Morning enjoy Mangla Aarti Darshan. Later enjoy Breakfast at hotel. Later visit Bet Dwarka, believed to be the original abode of Lord Krishna. The Nageshwer Jyotirling Temple is home to one of the 12 Swayambhu Jyotirling in the world. Visit the Gopi Talab, the lake where Gopi are said to have reunited with Lord Krishna. The Rukmani Devi Temple is dedicated to the wife of Lord Krishna. Evening proceed towards Jamnagar. Check-in at Hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay in Jamnagar.

  • Day 7 :Jamnagar - Rajkot ( 90 Kms – 2.5 Hrs ) - Enroute Narana Marine National Park

    After Breakfast, Check-Out from Jamnagar, Darshan at Bala Hanuman Temple and enroute to Rajkot explore Narana Marine National Park. Bala Hanuman Temple- The Bala Hanuman Temple is located on the south-eastern side of Ranmal Lake. The temple is remarkable for the incessant 24-hours chanting of the mantra ‘Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram’, since August 1, 1964 and is in Guinness Book of World Record.Narana Marine Sanctuary and National Park, We can see several species of waders like Oystercatchers, Crab-plovers, Shanks, Stints, Kentish Plover, Common Redshank, Ruddy Turnstone, Crab-plover, Eurasian Oystercatcher, Lesser Crested Tern, Bar-tailed Godwit, Great Knots and Trek Sandpipers in the park. Right within the centre of Bhavnagar city of Gujarat stands the Gandhi Smriti, which commemorates the life and repair of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Constructed in 1955 and attached to a tower clock, Gandhi Smriti is one among the foremost frequented tourist spots within the city.
Barton museum is found on the bottom 
floor of Gandhi Smriti, where you'll find a broad range of archaeological remains of the encompassing areas. On the primary floor, there rare photographs of Gandhi which take you back during the liberty movement of India, where Gandhi stood invincible. This is the Gandhi museum. The library here holds a huge collection of books and memorabilia that Gandhi used.
