The Local Houses & Embroidery Of The Area Is Well Known. Later Visit Kalo Dungar ( Black Hill) And Dattatray Temple, Which Provides The View Of The Great Rann & Sunset. Return the Resort. Overnight Stay at the Resort.

A multicultural village with some great tastes to supply , Bhirandiyara is that the home to the Meghwal community known for a few eccentric embroidery and colorful Bhunga huts in there vicinity as a dwelling place. Also, the ‘Mawa’ aka Maavo among the localites, a milk product, where within the milk is burnt to scale back to a fudge consistency, and adding sweetness thereto , is famous here certain the right village pudding experience.

Ludiya Village

Ludiya about 70Kms north from Bhuj and 3Kms from Khavda, may be a beautiful village predominantly with Muslim people and Harijans. Coined as ‘Gandhi nu Gam’, Ludiya accommodates with the Meghwal community, the village forms as an aesthetic delight. The occupation oriented here is with beautiful embroidery work and traditional crafts and furniture. The village scape is heavily cozy, with construction of mud houses with captivatingly intricate designs, mirror works, just almost each other leaving a pathway distance in between.

With excellent potters and leather craftsman, Khawda is dominant with Muslim community. Here the KMVS office of Khawda is legendary for embroidered handmade soft toys and other distinct creations. Also, world famous flamingo colony can be found here in the lakes out past Jamkundaliya, where these birds migrate over every year.

Dhordo Village

Situated around 80 km from Bhuj, the village of Dhordo is known for its rich culture and banni hospitality. Handicrafts are a crucial a part of the lifetime of people here because the village is home to the Mutwa community from Sindh, which specialises in thread and needlework. This style of embroidery is called Mutwa embroidery, and includes a chain of stitches inset with mirrors, silver jewellery and leather embroidery. Tourists can purchase beautiful articles and items featuring Mutwa embroidery.

On visiting Dhordo, confirm to find out about the exquisite mud craft from Miyabhai Hussain Mutwa and Mehmoodbhai Elias Mutwa, noted artisans of the region. The mud craft is usually found along the walls of the huts (bhungas). The White Desert is almost 1 km from Dhordo village.
