Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Ahmedabad - Gir - ( 350 kms , 7 ½ hrs)

    Arrive at Ahmedabad apt/Rly Stn , You will be transfer to Gir. On arrival at Gir, check into the Hotel. Evening visit Local Sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.

    Today Visit Gir national park & Jeep Safari (at an additional cost & with prior booking. Worth to visit Devaliya Park near Gir. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 3 :Gir - Dwarka - (270 kms, 6hrs)
    Drive to Dwarka. On arrival check into the  hotel. Visit the famous Dwarkadhish temple, also visit the Rukmini Devi temple is an architectural masterpiece. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 4 :Dwarka - Bhuj - (410 kms, 8 hrs)

    You will be transfer to Bhuj. Today Visit places like Aina Mahal Museum, Pragmahal Museum, Bhartiya Sanskriti Darsan Exhibition & Cenotaphs of Royal Family. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Today after breakfast proceed to Mandvi, Check into Hotel.

    Post Lunch visit the Vijay Vilas Palace, later visit 72 Jinalaya and New Trimandir. . Overnight stay at the hotel

  • Day 7 :Mandvi
    Today after breakfast proceed to visit Mandvi town which is also famous for its 400 year old ship building centre. The local carpenters still make ocean going Dhows in much the same way that their ancestors had done a century ago. One can go and visit the men at work,shaping the great vessels with hand tools and coaxing the seasoned timber into shape. The carrying capacity of these boats can vary from 250 tons to 1000 tons. The predecessors of these very same ships had roamed the Indian Ocean and made Kutch amaritime power. Handmade models of these Dhows can also be procured from local artisans. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 8 :Hodka Village - (130 kms , 3 ½ hrs)

    Today proceed for permit to go to border area Hodka Village. Where you have the pleasure to stay in Traditional Bhungas (Mud Houses) of Family Tent. The day ends with a traditional dinner at the resort. Overnight at Resort.

  • Day 9 :Hodka – Banni - Pachcham Region - Hodka

    Today, get ready to explore the Banni and Pachcham regious and the edge of the great Rann of Kutch.( 200km/4 hrs ). Visit Dhordo Village, Bhirandiyara Village, Ludiya Village and Khavda village. The Local houses & embroidery of the area is well known Later visit kalo Dungar ( Black Hill) and Dattatray Temple, which provides the view of the Great Rann & sunset. Return to the resort. Overnight stay at the resort.

  • Day 10 :Hodka - Dasada - ( 280 kms , 6 ½ hrs)

    Drive to Dasada. Enjoy wild life safari Sanctuary & safari include with sharing basis. Day at Leisure. Overnight Dasada

    On arrival at Ahmedabad, transfer to Hotel. Check in to Hotel. Today Visit Gandhi Ashram &Calico Textile Museum one of the finest museums ( 1st section at 9 am & 2nd section at 2.40pm only 20 people allowed) , Hathisingh wadi Jain temple, Adalaj Step well, Jama Masjid , Sidi Syed Mosque & will be free for Shopping. Overnight at Hotel.

Bet Dwarka

Bet (pronounced ‘Bait’ Dwarka also referred to as Shankhodara, is an island located near the shores of Okha which is situated around 30 kms from Dwarka, within the Gulf of Kutch. It said that Lord Krishna resided here while Dwarka was his constitutional seat. The name Bet Dwarka came from the famous legend revolving around Krishna’s childhood friend, Sudama who came to his house and offered him tandool poha as bhet (gift). Hop on to a ferry boat for a fascinating 15-minute journey to succeed in Bet Dwarka. The main attraction in Bet Dwarka is that the majestic Dwarkadhish Temple that features a gigantic statue of Lord Krishna plated in gold. This statue was made by Krishna’s queen, Rukmini. The other important landmarks here include the place where Sudama met Krishna, Rukmini’s Temple, Shri Keshavji’s Temple and Mahaprabhuji ni Baithak. Additionally, one can also visit Hanuman Dandi where Hanuman met his son Makardwaja. This is five kms faraway from the most temple and may be reached via scooter rickshaws. Apart from this, there are other landmarks like the Sidi Bawa Pir Dargah, the Haji Kirmai Dargah and a Gurdwara that might evoke the devout in you.
