This is an important employment opportunity for the people of Munnar. Kannan Devan Tea Estate is a Tata-owned tea parkland in Munnar that houses most of the tea gardens in Munnar. The Tata Tea Museum, also known as the KDHP Museum, is located 2 km from the centre of Munnar. It is a part of Tata Tea's Nallathanni Estate.</div><div><br></div><div>The museum stands as a tribute to all the pioneers of the tea gardens of Munnar, which transformed it into one of the major tea distributors in Kerala. The Tata Tea Museum is a one-of-a-kind museum in India. Tourists come here to know about the establishment and progress of tea garden industry in India. From a manually operated tea roller to a fully automated tea factory, you get to know every single fact related to the automation of tea plantation in Munnar.</div><div><br></div><div>Finally, do not forget to visit the exhibit room of this Tata Tea Museum. Kathakali is a highly stylized 400-year-old classical dance-drama originating from Kerala. <p>It is believed to have been introduced in Kochi by Chinese explorer Zheng He, from the court of the Kubla Khan. The fishing net established itself on the Kochi shores between 1350 and 1450 AD.</p><p>The Chinese Fishing Nets at Fort Kochi is a must visit attraction in Kerala.&nbsp;These are fixed land installations, used for fishing in a unique method.&nbsp;These nets are fixed on bamboo and teak poles holding it horizontally by huge mechanisms so as to pull them down into the sea.&nbsp;These nets are weighed by large stones tied to ropes.&nbsp;Operated by a team of six fishermen, the height of the Chinese fishing nets is around 10 meters, each sprawling to 20 meters over the water body.&nbsp;Each net has a fixed operating depth and due to this a net cannot be repeatedly worked in tidal waters.&nbsp;There are different fishing nets for operation which are based on the state of the tide.&nbsp;</p><p>The sight of the Chinese nets, suspended in mid air and standing in line on the beaches, when silhouetted against the sunset is breathtakingly beautiful. It is, undoubtedly, one of the most photographed sights in Kochi. This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member.
