Kerala is also famous for its cuisine. Foods that you must try are Idiyappam which is made of rice flour, salt and water almost look like sevai is eaten with curry. Appam which is made from rice flour, coconut milk, coconut water and a bit of sugar looks like dosa and is best eaten with Ishtu which is a thick dal with lots of veggies. Dosa which is ghee roasted with sambhar and chutney. Malabar Parota is very famous in Kerala.
For non-vegetarians Nadan Kozhi Varuthathu which is spicy chicken fry, prawn curry made in Kerala style and fish are must-try.
Among sweet dish Palada Payasam and banana fritters one must have after lunch or dinner.
