Day wise travel itinerary
- Day 1 :Arrival at Leh
Arrive at KushokBakula airport, Leh situated at 3500m altitude, meet & greet our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Leh city. On arrival, check in at the hotel and take full-day at rest to acclimatize yourself completely to the high altitudes of Ladakh which is a must. Overnight stay at Leh.

- Day 2 :Leh - Indus Valley Tour - Leh (90 km round trip / 5-6 hours)
This morning after breakfast, drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway. And start our sightseeing with Hall Of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to GurudwaraPatthar Sahib at an altitude of 3600 Mtrs about 22 Kms from Leh was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills, just before Nimmu Village, there comes a famous Confluence Of Two Rivers Indus River coming from Tibet (left) and Zanskar River coming from Zanskar Valley (right). After visiting confluence we head to AlchiGompa, The complex of temples located within the village is the most celebrated of Ladakh’s monasteries and dates back to the 11th century. After visiting Alchi we back towards lehenroute visiting Likir Monastery was built in 11th century and was again re-built in 18th century and houses a 25 feet Lord gold covered Buddha Statue. Overnight stay in Leh.

- Day 3 :Leh - Nubra Valley (160 Kms – 05 HrsApprox)
Today Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & then drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival check in. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley.

- Day 4 :Nubra Valley - Excursion to Turtuk (164 Kms – 05 HrsApprox)
This morning after early breakfast, proceed to Turtuk (A village that was won by India in the 1971 war with Pakistan) and extremely close to the border. Visit a 16th Century Mosque, (comprising of a touch of Turkish & Iranian culture), ruined fort of Dhards and Monastery. Admire the magnificent view of the famous K2 peak (The second highest peak in the world after Mount Everest). Later return back to Nubra. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley.

- Day 5 :Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake (274 Kms – 8 HrsApprox)
Today morning after breakfast, check out & then drive towards Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snowcapped mountains on the horizon. On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Later we drive towards Pangong Tso via Agham&Shyok Valley. Some of the road patches in areas are extremely tough (towards nubra side) in terms of road conditions but no doubt the journey is very scenic! Later after crossing this adventurous part we drive further towards Durbuk&Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). Upon arrival check in. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

- Day 6 :Pangong Lake - Leh (225 Kms – 6 HrsApprox)
Today Morning after breakfast, check out & then drive to Leh via Changla Pass 5486 Mtrsenroute visiting HemisGompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism And further to Thiksey Monastery, an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and another 5 Kms driving through a picturesque landscape we reach to Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh & then visit the iconic 3 Idiots Rancho School. Later Drive further to Leh. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

This morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace. This large hilltop stupa has brightly colored reliefs on its mid-levels and is topped by a spired white hemisphere (smoking is prohibited here). Later visit Leh Palace, dilapidated yet interesting, which was built in the 17th century in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture. Lastly visit the Leh Market for shopping. Overnight stay at Leh.

Gurdwara Pathar Sahib

Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is a beautiful gurudwara, dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev ji founder of the Sikh religion. It is nestled 25 kms from Leh on Leh-Kargil road. The gurudwara is highly admired as it houses a rock which resembles Guru Nanak's back. It is constructed at the site where he is believed to have conquered a demon. The gurudwara is taken care and looked after by the lamas and the Indian army.

Magnetic Hill

The famous Magnetic / Gravity Hill of Ladakh is a cyclops hill where vehicles go against the force of gravity and move upwards on the hill when parked at the marked location. To experience this curious, park the car in neutral gear in the yellow marked box a few meters ahead of the Magnetic Hill road. From this point, the car starts moving at a speed of around 20 km/h.

Nimmu Village
Breathtakingly beautiful, Nimmu is a village located in the Southeastern part of the Ladakh region. The town is famous for offering awe-inspiring views of the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Owing to the high-altitude and topography of the region, there is nothing much to look around. But, the town lures all the adventure junkies for hosting the All India river-rafting expedition. The enthralling activity takes place on the river Indus flowing across the beautiful hamlet. Furthermore, rafting groups also make way to the Zanskar River to pacify their adrenalin rush. Attractions around Nimmu A heritage hotel in the village by the name of Nimmu house is a must-visit for the extra pampered souls. Additionally, despite the untouched cold barrens, one can amazingly expect some sightseeing at the Basgo, Likir and Alchi monasteries. For basking in the bliss, one can also visit the Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, which is en route while driving from Leh to Nimmu.

Sangam - Indus and Zanskar Rivers
Ladakh has never let us down to captivate us with its stunning beauty. Alchi
Alchi is a village in the Leh district of Ladakh, India. It is located in the Likir tehsil, on the banks of Indus River 70 km downstream from the capital Leh. Unlike the other gompas in Ladakh, Alchi is situated on lowland, not on a hilltop.

The Likir Monastery or Likir Gompa is the oldest monastery in Ladakh region, nestled around 52 kms from Leh town in the scenic Likir village. Belonging to the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, the main attraction here is a 75 feet large seated statue of Maitreya Buddha which is gilded in gold. There are other several paintings of guardian holiness, murals and thangkas that embellish the walls of assembly halls.

Hemis Monastery

Hemis is nestled around 45 kms to the south of Leh on the western banks of the Indus River. The Hemis Monastery was built in 1630 and which is the biggest and very richly bestowed monastery of Ladakh. Magnificent and facinating, Hemis is different from the other important monasteries of Ladakh. The monastery is very well decorated on all 4 sides by colorful prayer flags which flutter in the breeze and send prayers to Lord Buddha.

Shey Palace

A mosaic of myriad shades of blue, the pristine Pangong Lake is perched at a height of 4,250 mts above sea level and is said to be one of the highest saline water lake in the world. Lying almost on the Indo-Chinese border, about 60% of it falls in China and rest in India, however you can see most of the lake. The beauty of the lake is such that it has been a cinematic backdrop for the blockbuster Bollywood movie - 3 Idiots. In fact, there is a 3 Idiots Point in the area, where the famous yellow scooter from the movie's climax is stationed. The lake is about 5 km wide at its broadest point and about 134 km in length. There are also a variety of camps that surround the banks of the lake which offer budget to luxurious accommodation to suit all kinds of pocket. The scenic landscapes, the serenity experienced and the shimmering water here all will leave you mesmerized.

The Shanti Stupa in Leh is a marvelous white-domed Buddhist monument nestled atop a steep hilltop at a dizzying height of 11,841 feet above sea level. It is a religious place for the Buddhists as it holds the relics of Buddha, dedicated by the 14th Dalai Lama. It is also very famous amongst tourists as it offers a stunning view of Leh and the nearby Changspa village. Shanti Stupa looks extraordinarily beautiful during the full moon night when it is naturally illuminated by the moonlight. It is at a distance of about 5 km drive by road from the Leh city or one can climb 500 steps to reach The Shanti Stupa. The location of Shanti Stupa is such that it is visible from all over Leh city.

The Leh Palace is a 17th-century former royal palace also known as 'Lhachen Palkhar,' and one of the central attractions in Leh. Constructed under assistance and support of by King Sengge Namgyal, it used to house his family.
