Khardung La is a mountain pass in the Leh district of the Indian union territory of Ladakh. The local pronunciation is &quot;Khardong La&quot; or &quot;Khardzong La&quot; but, as with most names in Ladakh, the romanised spelling varies. The pass on the Ladakh Range is north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys.

<p style="text-align: justify; ">The Changtang is a part of the high altitude Tibetan Plateau in western and northern Tibet ... The Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary is home to many rare species of flora and fauna, which are well cared for in this wildlife sanctuary. Pangong Lake, one of the most famous lakes in Leh Ladakh, derives its name from the Tibetan word, “Pangong Tso”, which means “high grassland lake”. It is very popular and more of a visiting place by sacred Buddhist scholars as well as visitors. From the surface , the monastery won't appear to be existent in such glorious ways, as dilapidated buildings and houses surround the complex and sometimes it'd also appear as non-existent. It is constructed at the site where he is believed to have conquered a demon. When the locals sought his help, the demon threw a boulder towards Guru Nanak to obstruct his prayers but that turned into soft wax that failed to harm him, seeing this the demon asked for penance for his deed and Guru Nanak ji forgave him. The boulder with the imprint of the body of Guru Nanak Dev and the footprint of the demon is on display in Gurdwara Pathar Sahib. This rock is now worshipped at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Belonging to the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, the main attraction here is a 75 feet large seated statue of Maitreya Buddha which is gilded in gold. There are other several paintings of guardian holiness, murals and thangkas that embellish the walls of assembly halls.</div><div><br></div><div>The Gompa is the seat of Ngari Rinpoche, who is the youngest brother of Dalai Lama. ‘Likir’ means ‘The Naga-Encircled’ which represents the bodies of two great serpent spirits- Nanda and Taksako. According to legends, these serpents had guarded the monastery.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>At present, there's a school inside the Likir Monastery run by the Central Institute of Buddhist studies along with a library open to tourist where old manuscripts, volumes and books on Buddhism and the teachings of Tsong Khapa are housed. This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member. She was so friendly by nature and knowledgeable person to guide us. Thanks to FLAMINGO.It was our excellent dream trip. I would rate 5 stars out of 5.

<div>On the very first day <span style="font-weight: bold;">Mr. Kushal shah</span> wanted us to have a great bonding amongst each other so that we get the best experience possible. He always tried to serve the best food and at the proper time. The thing that was best in him was that he always shared some or the other things related to the place we were visiting in an interesting manner. Mr kushal shah tried to give information about the place in an easy language understoodable by every participant and never meant to behave partial with anyone. A negative or say a sad point&nbsp; was that the Orlando hotel which was felt comparatively poor quality. We were given quality shopping time and he also enlisted what activities are to be done in parks that are the best in that particular part.
