The foundation of this palace was laid way back in 1928 and construction of the palace was completed in 1943 under the guidance of chief architect Sir S.S. Jacob and Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. The palace was erection was done under the aegis H.V. Lanchester. The foundation’s ground was crushed by Maharaja Umaid Singh himself upon whom the palace is named after all. The museum houses artistic murals, opulent miniature paintings and unusual household paraphernalia which is not seen in today’s market. The brothers started working on the opposite sides of the building which lead to a similar but non identical left and right side. The extraordinary exteriors dripping with carvings and the virtuoso work of the Haveli (similar on either side but not identical) with two elephants made of limestone guarding the entrance is the sight that every visitor is privileged to see.&nbsp; Apart from its extraordinary outer carvings, this haveli is known for its beautiful interiors equipped with modern facilities and filled with paintings. An amalgamation of Rajputana architecture, Nathmal Ki Haveli is well justified as being one of the most beautiful havelis in Jaisalmer. In addition to the detailed architecture, facades, latticed windows, intricate and others, Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli also boasts on two life-sized elephants on its main entrance. Though it was built centuries ago, then too Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli is decked with an array of modern amenities and facilities.As the name suggests, the architecture and carvings that adorn the fort of Jaisalmer are mostly built out of yellow sandstone. Bada Bagh, also called Barabagh (lit. "grand garden" in Hindustani) is a garden complex located about six kilometers north of Jaisalmer in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Overlooking a mango grove sits a set of royal chhatri cenotaphs constructed by the Maharajas of the Jaisalmer State in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries CE.A descendant of Maharawal Jaisal Singh, the founder of Jaisalmer State, Jai Singh II (1688–1743), commissioned a dam to create a water tank during his reign in the early 18th century. This made the desert green in this area.After Jai Singh II's death on 21 September 1743, his son Lunkaran built a beautiful garden by the lake and a memorial chhatri cenotaph on a hill overlooking the lake. Later on, many more cenotaphs were constructed here for Lunkaran and other Bhattis. The last chhatri, meant for Maharawal Jawahir Singh, dates from the 20th century and remains unfinished after Indian independence.

This was our first trip at abroad, we were having lots of questions with us how will be the company, will get Jain food and many more but with flamingo the answers was yes we got best company and excellent food all over the trip. We didn't only get Jain food but we got full Gujarati dish "Shikhand Puri", "Pani Puri", "Puran Puri", and many Indian dishes, it was really very surprising for us. The hotels provide by them for stay were also so good. The tour manager Devarshi Mam itself was so supportive. We never realized that tour manager is with us she was like our family member.
