Day wise travel itinerary

  • Day 1 :Arrival In Gaya

    Arrive at Gaya station and drive to Bodhgaya , On arrival in Bodhgaya transfer to Hotel , ,  later enjoy sightseeing of Bodhgaya visiting Mahabodhi Temple complex, Vshupad Temple etc., Stay overnight in Bodhgaya.

  • Day 2 :Bodhgaya -Varanasi [ 272 kms : 5-6 Hours ]

    After breakfast , drive to Varanasi, On arrival in Varanasi transfer to Hotel,  Later in the evening visit to Ganga Ghat to witness Ganga Aarti at Dasaswamedh Ghat and overnight at hotel.

  • Day 3 :In Varanasi

    Start your day with Sunrise boat ride followed by visit Temple to Kashi Vishwanath, Annapurna Temple & Vishalakshi Temple etc. After breakfast proceed on a half day temple tour of Varanasi visiting Bharat Mata (Mother India) Mandir, Durga, Tulsi Manas, Sankat Mochan Temple and the new Vishwanath Temple. visit to Sarnath.

  • Day 4 :Varanasi- Prayagraj  [130 kms : 2-3 Hours ]

    After breakfast drive to Prayagraj . On arrival in Prayagraj transfer to Hotel , later visit, Triveni Sangam, Mahavir Temple, Anand Bhawan, Aloopi Devi Temple and stay overnight.

  • Day 5 :Prayagraj – Chitrakoot – Prayagraj [110 kms – 2-3 hrs]

    After breakfast drive enjoay same day excrusion of Chitrakoot visiting to kamadgiri Temple, Sati Anusuiya Temple, Gupt Godavari and stay overnight.

  • Day 6 :Prayagraj– Lucknow  [ 200 kms : 5-6 Hours ]

    After breakfast , drive to Lucknow . On arrival in Lucknow, visit Bara Imambara, Chhota Imambara, Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden, British Residency, Aminabad Market,    etc. and stay overnight.

  • Day 7 :Lucknow -Departure

    After breakfast, later in day drop to Airport.

  • Day 8 :Arrival at Patna - Gaya

    Arrive at Patna and transfer to Gaya. Check into the hotel and night stay. Overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Day 9 :Gaya to Varanasi

    Early in the morning visit the Vishnupad temple and perform the rituals (pind daan) for your ancestors. Later visit Mahabodhi temple at Bodhgaya and drive to Varanasi. On arrival check into the hotel. If time permits attend Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay in the hotel.

  • Day 10 :Varanasi

    Early morning proceed on a boat tour on River Ganges visiting all the bathing ghats followed by walk through the narrow lanes visiting the Golden Temple (old Vishwanath Temple), Annapurna Devi Temple, Vishalakshi Temple and Bhairav nath Temple. In case you wish to perform some rituals/pind daan for your ancestors you may perform this morning. Later visit Bharat Mata (Mother India) Mandir, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Sankat Mochan Temple and the New Vishwanath Temple. Evening visit Ganga Aarti at Dasaswamedh Ghat and overnight stay in hotel.

  • Day 11 :Varanasi - Prayagraj

    Breakfast in the hotel and drive to Prayagraj. On arrival at Prayagraj proceed to Sangam for a holy dip and later visit other places of religious and historical such as Akshaya Vat, Hanuman temple. Overnight stay in the hotel at Prayagraj.

  • Day 12 :Prayagraj - Chitrakoot - Prayagraj

    After breakfast at hotel drive to Chitrakoot (Madhya Pradesh). According to Hindu Mythology Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana spent eleven and half years of their fourteen years of exile. Visit Ramghat, Kamadgiri, Bharat Milap, Janaki Kund, etc. Later return to Prayagraj and visit Anand Bhavan, Swaraj Bhavan, Chandrasekhar Azad park and Lalita Devi temple. Overnight stay in the hotel at Prayagraj.

  • Day 13 :Prayagraj - Ayodhya - Lucknow

    After breakfast at hotel proceed to Ayodhya. On arrival visit to Rama Janmbhumi – the birth place of lord Rama and other temples. Later proceed to Lucknow. On arrival check into the hotel and overnight stay in Lucknow.

  • Day 14 :Lucknow - Naimisaranya - Lucknow

    After breakfast at hotel proceeds to Naimisaranya. The Mahabharata was composed by Vedavyas in this forest. A dip in the river Gomati at this spot is considered to be very sacred ritual. Later return to Lucknow and drop at Lucknow for onwards journey.

Hanuman Mandir Prayagraj

Some 500 metres north of Prayagraj Fort, there lies a renowned religious site - Bade Hanuman Ji Temple. Also called Lete Hanuman Mandir, the shrine is an underground pit which houses an enormous image of Lord Hanuman in a lying position. This is the only Lord Hanuman temple in the world the idol in reclining position. Another interesting thing to know about this popular Hindu temple in Prayagraj, is that one side of Lord Hanuman’s statue is half immersed in the water of the River Ganges. In the monsoon season when the water level rises, it is believed that the water of the river rises to touch the feet of the deity. During this time, a lot of devotees come to visit this sacred sight. Inside the temple, there is a sanctum which houses the idol of Lord Hanuman which lies 8.1 feet below the shrine.
